OP you read my mind, I ordered a n3DS not ten minutes ago and the only game I ordered was MH4U. This thread is going to hurt my wallet but I don't care, I'm treating myself.

I'm not liking it at all at, 18 hours in.
they never let you do side quests when you want, it always forces you to do the main story with just a few breaks where you can do like 3 side quests only to be forced to keep doing the main story when the game wants to. And on top of that, you can use lvl 50 pokemons that you get easily and just faceroll the secondary missions while your main pokemon duo is still like lvl 15

Mh4u has way more content, 3 difficulty ranks. Gen had 2 difficulty ranks but is more streamlined. Gen also introduced hunter arts which are pretty fun

Mostly text and puzzles. It's worth the time. I would play 999 first though

No, it's easy as hell. 100% free (minus the cost of a big SD card) if you've got firmware at 11.3 or below, an extra $20 if you're above that.

Once you turn it on, check the firmware in System Settings first, and do not update unless you see it's at 11.4 or up.

There's puzzle rooms you have to go through. Definitely play 999 beforehand so you aren't confused.

Amazing game. Never understood how people managed to hurt their wrists playing the game, or how they say the controls are bad.
Played it myself on hardest modest and didnt felt a single pain or anything.
Maybe playing on the XL version of the 3DS was the reason, or people are just fragile.

If Third/Sword isn't about timecop Ringabel and his sassy partner Airy fixing shit across the space-time continuum they can forget it.

I just made it simple on myself and kept the reticle in one spot and just moved Pit himself because I felt like being lazy.
