What went wrong then?

What went wrong then?

D2 sucked and kangz MC

I don't think she's black

You think wrong.

Why kill Outsider. Dude was pretty chill.

STOP USING THAT MEME WRONG YOU IDIOT Sup ForumsACK
REEEEEEEEEEE

She's as black as they come wtf are you smoking

He may be pointing out that her hair isn't nappy/natural.

Billie Lurk.

At least the woman you could play as in D2 was the only decent looking female in the Dishonored universe.

Plus, the Outsider had no reason to be killed. Much like Prototype 2 wanted us to hate and kill Alex Mercer after spending the entire first game setting him up as a tragic figure who was not at all connected to the psychopath that he got his name and looks from.

AYO HOL UP! YOU SAYIN WE BEEZ KILLING THE OUTSIDER N SHEEIT?

I liked the non lethal ending. Game where you play as outsider adjusting to human life when?

All the shilling here actually managed to kill any hype i had about it.
Also Billy Lurk shouldnt have return in D2 at all, let alone be a playable character. Bitch betrayed her brothers in arms. She is extremely lucky i didnt beheaded her. Daud shouldnt be forced to ever look back to her.

>Story no one cares about
>Muh Diverse MC
>Crappy void powers
>Crappy new weapons
>Recycled environments
>Press C to Stealth gameplay
>4 hours long

every stealth game is literally "press c to stealth" you retard

This desu, he only gave power to people he felt needed it. What they did with it was their choice. Daud just can't deal with the guilt he has over choosing to use that power to become an assassin and thug.

The D2 games ruined everyone's arc
>Corvo does the same thing all over again, becoming an official action guy
>Emily becomes a superheroine rather than an empress, doesn't seem to have matured at all
>Billie comes back from leaving her criminal life behind to 'find herself' like some basic bitch
>Daud can't take Billie's advice and just disappear, fifteen years later and he's still obsessed with The Outsider and, worse, blames the god for his own actions

I'm quite committed to never playing games that use denuvo, some other drm, or a 3rd party account system. In reality, 90% of the games this keeps me playing are forgotten within a year. It's been a great way of filtering flavor of the month games from my life.

Dishonored never sold well, this wasn't going to change black female protag or not

DOOM is the only one that's worth having, but it's a must-have.

dont forget
>Delilah comes back from the void to re-execute her exact same plan from the brigmore witches all over again and is stopped in almost exactly the same way

weirdly I feel like they handled Sokolov pretty well though

Alexi shoulda been the lord protector, corvo should've been the spymaster only and the captured guy (and not playable)

Alexi and Emily both playable, instead of Billie being your chauffeur you could've had a ship ran by loyalists to the throne, each mission you could pick to use Emily or Alexi depending on whose powers you wanted more for it

I dunno the story would still be bad I dunno what you'd have to do to fix it, get rid of Delilah at least

They degraded Delilah too by making her Jessamine's bastard sister. It's so tacky, so convenient, I'm convinced that's a direct suggestion from Anita. It's a cheap way to make Delilah "sympathetic" by offering a justification that she's been held down and deprived of her birthright by the patriarchy.

The story and the lore is becoming more Greco-Roman centric instead of Lovecraftian or Kirkbride-esque unpredictable like people speculated.

I don't know why people have a problem with Billie, the only thing I can see wrong is that she's just another recycled character. The thing about her being a woman doesn't really apply when she gets super-powers. . . plus she's a lot better suited than Emily the petit pretty princess.

Nothing, it's more of the same quality as other Dishonored titles, which is pretty good.

KEK

Nah, the lore was always about a metaphysical conflict between the chthonic and the celestial. That's how it was in Thief too, it's just Thief lore with a bit more window dressing and a different aesthetic. Everything about the Void relates to the shadow, dreams, intuition, magic, femininity, etc. while everything of the Abbey relates to light, principles, logic, mathematics, and masculinity. Looking at the ocean motif and thinking it's Lovecraftian is mistaking the forest for the trees.

I never cared too much for the stories of Dishonored and loved all the other content that they've released. Is this worth grabbing now or on a sale?

If you thought Dishonored 2 was fun and ran well enough to buy again, this is basically some remixed Dishonored 2 maps with a new set of skills. It's the same relationship as the previous game's dlc.

>High Chaos always treated like the bad choice
>D2 basically happened because Emily was Low Chaos
