Nah, VC2 was not great, but still a nice game but I do agree with it being inferior to the previous title. But VC3 was amazing.

BL1 felt more open in how its played, as well as challenge being smoother
BL2 is so overdesigned, each weapon type is so tightly bound to its niche, and enemy damage numbers are so uneven that I completely lost interest in it

VS2 knew exactly what it wanted to be. Gameplay was great. Story and characters were generic as shit, but fit the tone of the game. Which is more than what VC1 accomplished. Which had just as generic characters, but violently swung between holocaust/racial themes and "SQOINK!!!" so bloody quickly it gives everyone mood whiplash.

But VC2 was, unironically, the best game out of the three.

I was really irritated how they nerfed several classes to uselesness. Fencers got hit especially hard. 2 actually had the most class viability even if it was an RNG grindgest for certs and the story and characters were crap.

Eh. VC was 8.5/10 at best. The story was pretty trash.

I don't think VC1 is anywhere near a 10/10 but yeah it's pretty damn good and all the sequels/spinoffs are nothing but dogshit.

Pic related is another example. SOT is great and is one of the best reboots of all time, WW and TTT are just bad.

Fencers were too OP in VC2. They needed a nerf, but they went too far with them. Fencers became only useful in very specific situations which kind of sucked.

On the plus side the other general balance is pretty good, and shock troopers got a nice buff that they really needed.
Scouts are useful but no longer broken
like they were in the first game too.

It's available on PC to anyone with a working brain.

Starcraft 2 isn't garbage though. Its not amazing, but its a perfectly decent rts.

These: VC2 was a great game and I think it was vast improvement over VC1. Missions stopped being puzzle levels, no permadeath bullshit, no overpowered soldiers able to finish the mission in three moves. AI got much better too - the moment you leave your base unguarded they will fuck you up. Voice acting was actually very good and characters were alright. Some say they were living anime tropes but fucks sake give me a break, some of them were alright.

I hope you mean the original voice acting was actually good and not the dub cast.

Valkyria Units were a mistake.
For VC:4 we should just get a crossover so that you can play every character from the three games.

Maybe have defensive battles where the enemy invades your stage and you can set up defenses to help defend your territory.

I played VC 3. Every single chapter always like this: 2 boring skirmish and 1 good story skirmish. Made this game 2x long than original.
It definitely worst than VC 1.

I like VC for the characters and the gameplay, I know full well that the story itself is nothing special. The best part of the game's plot to me is Faldio because he did literally nothing wrong and single-handedly saved everyone.

Don't play vanilla if you can avoid it. The story will still be trash, but at least you will get to experience the gameplay, which is pretty good.
