What's your favorite one?
LEGO games
Marvel Superheroes
yep.
LEGO Rock Raiders
The game is just so great, exploring the caves building a huge factory underground, fending off monsters and whatnot
Its difficulty curve is good, the first are real easy to teach you the basics, and later on they introduce new challenges such as O2, monsters and a very limited amount of crystals to collect at all
The vehicle were tons of fun, although some were very useful, like that small drilling cart and super driller (albeit that it was prohibitively expensive), while other were absolute shit (mining laser)
Fuck those fucking snails though, seriously, sonic charges did fuck all and they would seriously fuck up your shit
I think the first Batman one was the last I played. Did adding voice acting bring down the quality?
voice acting by itself wasn't a problem because they have quite decent writers, but they made some games where the "voice acting" was just lines lifted from the original material.
The classic 2x4 brick. Its the most useful one of the bunch.
>tfw Lego Dimensions was the closest we'll ever get to Portal 3
there's no such thing as a good lego game
Lego avengers was disgusting in every aspect
>No PC version
Fucking hell
Jurassic Park was like that. The first of the 4 "movies" was pretty painful because they used really terrible quality audio to do it too.
Just make sure you do yourself a favor and avoid Lego Worlds, game is a steaming pile of crap. I got it early on for $10 and still feel I overpaid. Worst controls I've ever experienced and just feels sloppy as fuck.
>There are people in this thread who didn't answer Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
I am disgusted
>remember just messing about with a friend outside the Cantina areas, using the air vent lifts and beating up random people
>tfw when you found your favorite character to play as (mine was Commander Cody and the Clone variants)
>tfw filling up the stud counter
>tfw that whole mini village hidden level where you could just mess around
B-Bring me back.
This. Rock Raiders was genuinely amazing, and unlike anything I had played before or after. On top of that, it was my favorite LEGO theme of all time, and I was really into LEGO.
I also played a lot of LEGO Stunt Rally. Building custom tracks was the shit, even if the actual game was a simple as could be.
FUck dude. That game brings back so many memories, it was my favorite thing Lego made in a long ass time - from that game to the actual sets. between that and bionicle. I remember the levels where limited shit and getting fucked over as a kid because I was a greedy asshole who wanted to build the cool shit.
Anyone miss it when they used to tell the story without any dialog? It was pretty funny seeing Star Wars being mimed
Island
Racers
Rock Raiders
The biggest fuck you of the limited shit was that you'd never know it, until it was too late
Scarcity was never something apparent, as many maps appeared scarce and then you'd find the mother lode
Fuck now I remember one mission that was ridiculous in that
It was an ice mission, but I forgot which one
At any rate, you could find a large cave but not in the direction you should go. At the very end of that one you could drill through some walls and uncover another even larger cave.
At the very fucking end of that cave you'd encounter a large lake, which had a peninsula in the middle, connected at far side of the cave
On that peninsula there were probably a 100 crystals, not exaggerating.
But the issue was, it is so fucking remote from everything of your base that collecting even a fraction of those crystals would take really long
And to make matters worse, Ice monsters had a spawn right next to the peninsula and they would spawn very often, so most of the crystals were eaten before you could do shit against it
I think that nowadays I'd be able to mount a proper expedition to claim those crystals, but I was too young for that back then
>both a new fully voiced level
>and a voiced adventure world
absolutely beautiful
Racers
Legoland
Alpha Team
Loco
Fuck the ice monsters man. Hated those fuck along with the slugs. I always had my shit sucked out of early on from the fuckin slugs because my dudes would be away from the base and didn't have the powered fences or whatever yet.
Helps me bros, what was that one game where you controlled like these spies or operaters? It felt like a cheesy 007eqsue game, with that like underwater base, with the jungle floor that would kill you. Or am I fucked in the head?
