Fortnite is unironically superior though.
>F2P is ok if is gonna "hurt" something I dont like
You shitters have no principles
Both games are utter fucking trash
>>>>>>>>/leave/
Looking forward to fortnite but that battle royale mode looks pretty bad
The only people who will buy it are 3rd worlders who can't run pubg and PS4 owners.
PC/Xbox obviously won't buy it since they have the real thing
they wanna sue the fortnite guys? what a bunch of assholes.
The entire game is bad, it's a p2w grindfest
You know the part in minecraft where you hit blocks?
Take that and make it 2x the amount of time spent playing the game
It's Car Hitting Simulator: Wallets Win Games Edition
Is it really? I just saw some stuff when it was announced earlier this year and thought "I like this artstyle, and somehow the gameplay looks fun" so it's in my bucketlist right now, but I haven't really paid attention to it
Will I get banned from Fortnite if I kill streamers?
Blatant shilling
two more days lads
lol pubg on suicide watch
Reminder
does fortnite have first person camera? I can't stand third person shooters
Can we get a vidya Chad vs Virgin thread?
Starting off with some OC.
Both are shit.
@391311570
>lurking reddit
you don't belong here
what's this a reminder of exactly
All of these "survival" type games will be the death of the gaming industry as it once was.
It's a good concept, that's sad they have to ruin it.
So you have a source on PUBG wanting to sue Fortnite?
That Fortnite is a dead game
that PUBG is bloating their numbers
>caring about oce
>caring about a dead game
>PUBG
a game that was cobbled together in a year and a half, literally copying other games wholesale
>Fortnite
a game that has been in development for 6+ years and is still in early access
All that matters is who gets to the console field first with their game. And fortnite will offer the pubg experience for zero cost on console. To be more exact it will be on the console with the most amount of users vs pubg which will be on the lower end. No matter how you cut it from a business point of view. Fortnite is bound to win on the 26th.
How can something related to Randy Pitchford be succesful?
Did he really passed his curse to Cliffy B?
>Everything about everything in this screencap
What the fuck are people this fucking delusional
Pitchford is an egoistical asshole who thinks he created everything
You can't even use the one feature about Fortnite, different classes that have different abilities, you can't be the Ninja, just look like it and shoot guns.
why have a class based game and not use it in a PvP version of your game, also micro transactions upon micro transactions
...
Does it come out next week? I can't wait to check it out.
Though the "f2p" part is already concerning. I really hope it's gonna be moba-like f2p not mmo-like f2p
Remember that time he invented Call of Duty?
I miss when people understood the chad meme
Crates with skins all the way.
100% certain he's halfway through making one right now
>6 year dev cycle
That isn't a good thing retardo.
...
I really like the art style of Fortnite but no character creator is shit, and the thought of building forts while the safe zone is shrinking sounds retarded. Guess I'll see when it goes free this week.
kek
nice
>free to play
nope
Sublte
BAD THING
GOOD THING
wait pubg actually want to sue the fortnite devs?
It's like if Bungie tried to sue Id for Master Chief's design.
So, PUBGfags, what makes it a good game that Sup Forums should play? Don't respond with players online and wojacks depicting Sup Forums as upset, I'm looking for a legitimate argument. Even people I know who play the game tell me that I'm not missing out on anything.
I enjoyed Ark's battle royale minigame the most. Because it has dinosaurs.
>we want the battleborn of battle royale
>a single like
he probably liked it himself
fucking randy
Part of the appeal of pubg is the well done weapons
They are trying to publically shame epic, but it will probably backfire, like it always does. Not sure what their licensing agreement was, but since Epic worked with them on PUBG it probably includes this fact in the license. If they try to fuck with Epic and bring licensing agreement, patent issues or engine their licensing agreement for UE4 will automatically be terminated, so they probably can't go to court.
how long before he kills himself?
>well done
they shoot like shit. also most are useless trash
Plus, they don't fucking OWN THE CONCEPT of Battle Royale.
I don't care. Reload animations are mint
>I don't care
at least you admit to not actually liking the gameplay. /k/autist
That's base game, which fucking sucks.
The purpose of this comparison is the PVP mode which is actually quite popular. It also recently siphoned off even more users from the PvE mode (since it was added to the EA), which is unfortunate for people like me who dislike the PvP mode, but that's the facts.
>feels like 1k
?
...
I do like the gameplay but your opinion on how the guns feel is literally meaningless
>F2P crap
>Not even on steam
>Shitty cartoony graphics
>Borderlands loot guns
They are not really saying that they own the concept, but the fact that Epic MAY have been trying to exploit their position of engine developer and pubg codeveloper in order to replicate similar concepts they've worked on PUBG in their own game. These statements are extremely broad already and the fact that Fortnite battle royale doesn't really have lot in common with PUBG exlusive features makes it a non-issue. Gets PR though. The question is: who will win more from that: PUBG or Fortnite? My bet is on Fortnite, a game that went early access on a non-steam platform like 2 months ago and everyone forgot about it in like a week, while PUBG has been holding first place on global Steam sales for months.
>call /k/ autist
>while Sup Forums is the definition of a autist
I can actually attest to that, in the base game, users are subdivided by not only region in the world, but also region in the game, of which there are 4. The 2nd area of the game, Plankerton, is widely the most popular due to having MANY shitty missions that take a while to do coupled with the fact that many are going slow cause the 3rd area doesn't even have a story quest yet. Hell, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th areas don't even have unique tilesets yet. They just use the 1st area's for everything except the Storm Shield (special instanced area you gotta defend a bunch of times).
That said, if you solo queue for missions in Plankerton, you rarely find a group of 3 other people. They might trickle in over the next 10 minutes, but it's rare. And this was before we had the PvP mode.
No
The game is absolutely dogshit. It's frustrating if you actually try to win, but if you just play to mess around with friends it can be enjoyable. Still, my sessions with friends usually end with at least one person getting mad and quitting.
Rewards for playing in groups are terrible, and playing solo is boring. It has shitty $2.50 key microtransactions to open lootcrates that take forever to get for the average player.
Haven't played since that update, but from what I've heard from friends who still play is that the newest update made the Thompson OP and the new gun, the Mini-14, is also OP.
Tl;DR: nah, you're not missing out on much. I'd say avoid it, the game is pretty trash.
Adding onto this, since the loot box nonsense, the volume of people who just AFK somewhere until wall kills them has jumped significantly.
>After a little while, upwards of a dozen users just all die because they're all using a bot that is programmed to go a set distance from the middle and then just sit there
>the battle royale shooter will soon to have even more copycats with their own things that make them different
>Fortnite adds wall building during matches and some other shit i didn't really pay attention too
what do you want in your dream battle royale shooter?
>STOP liking what I don't like!!
it's great for streaming on your twitch.
>They are not really saying that they own the concept
Yes they are, they said epic should have licensed it from them.
The game is terribly frustrating from a /k/ perspective. There are so many guns that don't use the correct ammo, and even when it is technically correct it doesn't make sense. For example the SKS (which is bubba'd with a magpul stock in-game) and AKM both use the "7.62" ammo, which is correct since both guns are chambered in 7.62x39. However the Nagant revolver also uses the same "7.62" ammo, despite being chambered for the 7.62x38mmR cartridge. The Kar98k uses the "7.62" ammo, despite the fact that in real life it uses 8mm Mauser. The animations for the glock and some other guns are pretty nice at least, but that doesn't change the fact the game is made by a bunch of noguns gooks.
Is battle royale finally replacing the "hero shooter" meme?
