Hey anyone play this yet? It's a stealth game by the guy who made GUNPOINT. It seems fun.
Heat Signature
It's alright, starts off really slowly and takes a while for it to pick up.
It's really neat seeing the AI learn your patterns n shit, but after awhile they just repeat everything over again because what you can do is so limited.
The maps are super gorgeous and pretty, but super empty and boring at the same time, with all the maps pretty much being all the same shit.
The story is almost non-existent.
All in all, it was fun for one playtrough
I prefer the look of the palace from the outside.
Playing it right now, getting a heavy Blame vibe from this game, that pistol particularly, so far so good.
>title and picture are two different games
Get your shit together, OP
The fuck is crun clau?
>White haired whitie
not buying this nazi shit
>he's right
Holy shit, I did take way too much cough syrup today. I meant to talk about ECHO but I read some stuff on Heat Signature and the two must've blended together in my mind.
Good job, OP. That said, I like both.
>Heat Signature
>Unlock the mission for the Outsider's stronghold
>Literally ram a ship into it
>Set up all nicely
>Plot course
>Capture in (5) seconds
>Panic and try to find a window
>Just as I reach it and am about to fire, boom
>Lost my Everything gun too
>game starts
>main character is a brown stronk womyn
>all the other characters are female who have forced sjw shit like rescuing their husbands
Yeah no.
It's greatm but it's not a stealth game, if you're going to play as a stealth game, you're going to be frustrated to no end.
Once you realise echoes are basically deaf and don't have a huge cone of view, the game gets a lot easier.
>time for my personal mission to rescue one of my starter characters
>all guards have shields
>every single fucking room has four guards in it
That anti-armour shotgun was a waste of money
>easy/medium options pay terribly and are trivial and boring
>hard+ missions pay okay but you have to have a decent amount of gear or you'll fail because every enemy is fucking invincible and/or you have 10 seconds to get from one end of a huge ship to the other
>every goverment ship has like 30 dudes and they all have shields
>can't even smack them
Fuck. Also how do you retire a character, and what does that do?
I've been getting a weirdly Darkest Dungeon type vibe from where I'm at in Heat Signature right now, since older characters who have done more missions don't make as much progress towards unlocking new tech, I've been throwing brand new characters into harder missions to complete as fast as possible without caring if they die.
There's a doorway at the top of each station
I'm not sure what retirement does besides clear out that character so you can start a new one. The game incentivises you to keep playing new characters if you want to finish the "story" and liberate all the stations
Oh shit I've been looking forward to this game for a while. Had no idea that it came out.
It's shit. Don't bother.
>Get an absurd assassinate mission with the 'rogue ship' detail
>Cap another ship and blast the target ship until target flies into the void
Pretty gud so far
>board ship
>fuck up almost immediately and get shot at
>entire square blows up for some reason
>reboard ship
>there's only one airlock and that corridor was the only way to access the rest of the ship
Hmm
You can dock with any part of the ship that has a hole in it. Look for blue stuff.
what the fuck is going on in this thread
op fucked up, put the wrong game in the image.
Game we're talking about is actually Heat Signature
OP's post talks about one game while their pic is of a different one. Both games were discussed.
OP, in his medically-induced drug stupor, talked about two separate games at the same time. He talked about it earlier in the thread.
How do you find items your guys left behind when they retired? Is it just random loot you can find?
