When people say CRT is better, they mean for old systems. Consoles which were built to be used with those screens. I don't care how many trendy points it gives you, using a CRT for modern games makes no sense.

Because it's 1080i, a deprecated video format? The only thing that I can think of that natively uses 1080i is American cable. Modern televisions have been using progressive scan for a decade or more.

Modern TVs have game modes that minimise input delay severely. Do your research and you can find a pretty good TV for vidya.

Only some CRT's do this nowadays. Mostly CRT monitors at high resolutions / refresh rates. I don't think I've ever heard CRT whine on a CRT TV.
