Blizzard has enabled permanent logging of your Battle.net chat history. It cannot be disabled.
Come laugh at the cheaters and degenerates crying for them to have an option to disable it.
If you have any ERP friends (sicko degenerate), report them to their spouses so they can comb through their awful chat logs!
Nathan Gray
Its only for 28 days tho dud, so they just gotta wait it out
Jayden Powell
oh no, they'll have to log out if they live with someone who's likely to go through their chat history
ERP enthusiasts will never recover from this
Charles Hill
Wait, they didn't have it before? How the fuck did they determine the context then
Charles Ramirez
>implying Blizzard doesn't have a permanent record of everything you've typed since like 2008
Logan White
it would clear your chat history when you closed the battle.net client. so if you kept it open your chat history was saved
James Richardson
oh yeah boy I'm sure ((("""""""))) hassn't been logging shit before and all just NOW like never before ok blizzard defender of privacy yes
William Thomas
who the fuck cares why do you even play blizzard games
Elijah Carter
It's really hard to believe that it would be scrubbed clean every time you exited the client. Is the issue that they're now publicly accessible?
Gavin Adams
STOP ERPING.
Easton Garcia
no, they're only available to the user. and whoever they were chatting with i guess
Jace Hall
So ERPers and people who act like everything is Sup Forums and Sup Forums are upset?
Hunter Hill
>giving a shit what people think about you in an mmo Besides that, most ERPers just hang out in their own ERP centric cliques.
Alexander James
Who the fuck cares then? Can you not manually clean your logs? This seems like a QoL deal.
Jace Smith
This, it effects literally nothing by the sound of it.
Sebastian Watson
>all those "I have nothing to hide" replies in that thread
Logan Foster
whomever
Blake Rodriguez
no, you can't manually clear it, and that's what people are complaining about. it would bug me because i don't like clutter, but i'd live
thanks
Gabriel Perez
I mean, its not the biggest problem in the world, some will like it others won't.
Landon Smith
>no, you can't manually clear it, Well, that seems like something they should. If only because I don't like clutter either. Still though, just ERP in game or whatever. No need to use the battle.net client.
Luke Gutierrez
also i'd like to say that if your spouse is the kind of person who will comb through your chat logs trying to catch you doing something they disapprove of, your marriage is already ruined
Jayden Sullivan
The thread doesn't even explain what it is and does. I started the Battle.net client and I don't see any such log. Where is it and how is it accessed?
