Love it.
Getting that final bead is hard as all fuck.

It's a shame the game sold poorly. Such a fun and beautiful game.

Amazing game where its only flaws are that the drawing was inaccurate, the game was too easy and the MOST EXPENSIVE UPGRADE WAS AN AWFUL POOPING ATTACK THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT

Yes I'm still mad.

Way ahead of its time. It was the best 3D Zelda game until BotW.

It sold poor in Wii then sold decently on PS2.

i am on my first playtrough right now since i only got a PS3 recently, it's a really great game, feels like a lot of passion went into making it. i have been sitting around just before the water dragon for like a week now, i don't want this game to end ;_;

wait, but PS2 ver. came first

Great game and I'll almost guaranteed buy the PC port.

makes me thirsty for a sequel we'll never get. Even Okamiden wont be ported up

Worst of all, there havent even been spiritual successors

>okami remaster? no thanks
>on PC
okay, i buy now

Bought a PS3 last Christmas and got Okami, sperged out and got the platinum in a week. I'm sad I didn't wait because I much prefer physical purchases and enjoy taking screenshots quite a bit. Oh well, still had a lot of fun.

Also can't get over how good the sound track is.It has got to be one of my fav OSTs from a game.

It sold better on Wii than on PS2.

because no one can. don't give them any ideas

Ok, now my memory is coming back.

I remember the IGN watermark was on the second port and that port was Wii.

Maybe I'll beat it this time. Is it crossbuy with PS3?

Loved it since PS2, one of my favourite games of all time. Can't wait for the PC version.

This one?

I'm sure you can buy it from the PSN store iirc.

I already have it on ps3, I wonder if it'll just pop up on my ps4 like journey

is this okay?
>really GUD games come out
>don't sell well
>wait like ten years to remaster
>people want it due to "hipster/nerd" cred or whatever the reason they suddenly want it now
mostly talking about people who don't play these kinds of games. same happened with ICO

one of the best games out there

Fucking excellent. One of my favourite games.

I only wish these rereleases would improve the draw distance on things like animals, but I know that's a bit out of the scope of a remaster.

It's my favorite game of all time. I've bought it and finished it on PS2 (finished it 8 times), Wii (2 times), and PS3 (3 times), and I plan on buying it again for PS4.

I just want a game where you play as a cat and beat the shit out of enemies with marbles and tunacan lids

I had never played it until it came out one month on ps+ and I actually regret having never bought it. I think I'll have to pick up the next release as a means of replayment for how much I loved it.

One of my favorite games ever, top 10 for sure. It just needed to be harder and have more in depth combat. I've not played the sequel, but I feel like it isn't worth it.

Nah it sucks. it's a shame bc games like these are amazing and should definitely be played instead of being stared at.

Good game, probably the best 3D Zelda clone. I personally think it's Kamiya's weakest game though.

Should I get a PS2 or Wii copy or wait for the HD one? Is the sequel any good?

PC and no.

>i have been sitting around just before the water dragon for like a week now, i don't want this game to end

Haha.

I'd recommended playing any version desu, you could probably emulate the PS2 version.

I wouldn't know about the sequel, since I've never played it, Heard it wasn't as good but it was okay.

got it for the first time about a month ago. the start was really really slow. i kept waiting for it to pick up and get fun. I got a little over two hours in (after you get to the field area and can restore the trees) and stopped playing, haven't picked it up since then. seems pretty ok, but nothing special beyond the setting. graphics don't look too great even though i played the HD version

A great game that is actually too long.

>He thinks Oni Island is the end
>Laughing Orochi.png

Sup :^)

It's one of my favorites.

I just picked up the Jap version with english subtitles on ps3. EVen got a soundtrack with it. Dont know how to feel about this ps4 version.

You're not even halfway through IIRC

...

maybe bloodborne would be more your pace friend.

I'd say he's approaching the 2/3rds mark, unless he hasn't even gotten the Fox Rods yet.

I hope it includes the credits from the PS2 version, I'd be slightly mad if they got rid of that.

GLORIOUS PC GAMING MASTER RACE WINS AGAIN

Can we agree the DS one, while cute, was boring as shit?

I'm pretty sure I did everything in the damn game and I can barely remember it, so yeah it was boring sadly. I'd like to see a remaster of it though.

It is really long but manages to be interesting all the way through. Managed to reach around 70 hours doing all the optional stuff. Longer than most RPGs.

It's a good game. A cool take on the 3D Zelda formula.
I'm not sure if I like it enough to replay it/buy it again though...
Even though that cover is really cool...

I can't tell if I'd like it or not. Kamiya games go so over the top sometimes that it ruins the gameplay for me. I hate the stupid QTEs and mini-cutscenes of Bayonetta attacks, along with the pickup weapons. I seriously like almost any other action game better than Bayonetta. DMC1 was good, but DMC3 is what made me actually like the genre, and that was what in the end influenced so many action games.
I know this is more Zelda-like, which should make it even more appealing, but watching the game a bit makes it seem like it has that unappealing Kamiya style to me.

it does but its not perfect. On english it plays a different song than the original ps2 version. You have to change it to japanese to hear the track. Its there, you just might need to beat the last boss twice to get the full experience.

I'm buying it again. I don't care. Though at this point, I officially have more remakes/remasters on PS4 than actual new games, which either says something about the quality of the new shit coming out or says something about me as a consumer.

It's very far away from being like DMC or Bayonetta. Combat honestly takes a bit of a backseat; it's functional and quick, normal encounters are over in seconds if you're decent. Boss battles are more about puzzle solving than anything else. And there are things that are kinda like QTEs, but they're presented upfront and are basically just using the paintbrush mechanics in a scene with no real penalty for fucking up. Obviously I'm biased, but I do seriously recommend trying it for yourself.

Good game that overstays its welcome. Should have ended with the boss fight vs ninetails or true orochi.

Don't buy a multiplat remaster on PS4 you fucking retard. You'll just end up doing it again on the PS5 instead of buying the end-all definitive version.

Takeyasu's creature designs have certainly gone downhill a bit, haven't they? As much as I enjoyed God Wars, it's hard to believe that the monster designs are down to the same guy behind Okami and El Shaddai.

But how long until PS5 comes out? And will it have BC to PS1 all the way to PS4 games?

>And will it have BC to PS1 all the way to PS4 games?
No, because of people like you.

Why? Right now I have my PS2.PS3 and PS4 under my TV when I wish I could pack up the PS2 and PS3 to save room.

It's pretty fun but it starts to severely lose steam once you get to the snow region. Also fighting Orochi three fucking times was a bit much.

I can agree with this. Fighting Orochi dragged the game on. Still a great game however.

Honestly, the actual monster designs aren't super great. It's really carried by the Ukiyo-e artstyle. And El-shaddai also had that weird-ass sketchy filter going on, in addition to the gorgeous overall environment and lighting/color design that tied everything together.

It was a solid game; I played it enough to the point I got all 100 beads, but in hindsight I feel that it was the presentation more than the gameplay that pushed to play on until the end.

>Why?
>I officially have more remakes/remasters on PS4 than actual new games,

My PS3 collection has a lot of remasters, but my PS4 collection is mostly PS4 exclusives with about 3 multiplats and only remake is Yakuza Kiwami

Will the PS4 version finally retain the original credits song? (Reset)
