Which one do I buy on Tuesday Sup Forums? Or should I bite the bullet and get both?
I've never been in a position where two games I have significant interest in both come out on the same day at nearly the exact same time.

Neither since both will be released at a later date on Steam just like Nier and Ys VIII due to "improving gameplay quality." which just means anti-piracy.

Nier Automata had its final release date announced before the console release even happened in the West, Ys VIII is on GoG which means the game is guaranteed to have no DRM and had its delay announced by this point prior to release, and Spike Chunsoft & Koei Tecmo are too poor to afford any sort of anti-piracy measures (and likely would have implemented them on Atelier Firis/Ultra Despair Girls prior to this anyways).
