I read Chaos;Head a year ago and I hope this is better than the shitshow that was Chaos;Head (it probably will be).

Yeah but they influence that main character's relationships with others, how he views the world. that sort of thing.

Say, you gave him negative delusions to one character, he will not trust that character and avoid contact with them, so you can't do there route or learn much about them. Or maybe you can prevent a bad ending by staying away from a character, the story is pretty wild.

Nah, from what I heard R;N was pretty bad. It got a "remake" in the form of Robotics;Notes Elite which fixed a lot of pacing issues that R;N had.

Issue is, the game just went from mediocre to pretty good while Chaos;Head Noah, Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child were all considered amazing. It is pretty much the weakest in the series. (Not mentioning the original Chaos;Head)

That is how it works though, actually. For the game was unavailable in English and to English speaking people. So, for Americans, British and other such, it can be game of the year. This doesn't count for Japan since they got it in 2014/15. But it counts for us.

Im judging it as a standalone game so my opinion is acceptable as it is.

Other people on EGS have been saying as well that the game couldve been done without the individual routes. They were halfassed, have no actual bearing to the main route and only serves to pad the game out even further.

Yes. It is connected to Chaos;Head but it's a standalone game.

It's a sequel set years after C;H but things that need explaining are explained in game and in some ways it's best to play Chaos;Child first.

I like NISA, they put a lot of effort into translations. Every CG, Everything in the openings and movies, things like that. All of it gets properly translated. Most games like Danganronpa never get things like that translated.

I wonder if A;C will even look like this by the time they re-reveal it. Regardless of when they started working on the O;N VN they decided to rip off Persona 5's visual style at one point and that had to have been a choice made pretty recently.

Hm. Chaos;Child is a lot longer then DRV3. DRV3 is around 20 hours if you wanna do everything while Chaos;Child is around 50-70 hours depending on how fast you go through it.

I think some of the art (kurisu's character design especially) got butchered in the anime and a lot of story details are missing. It's still a fantastic story but the VN is better.
