Because we don't relate with degenerate furries
Every non-human race should be portrayed as the scum they are.
STOP FUCKING ALIENS.
Reptiles are shit. barely above fish and insects as far as value. They are literal vacuum cleaners of the animal world. They are not even as intelligent as rats or even mice. They have no feelings, they lay eggs, sex is only a means to an end, and are cold mindless killers. Pathetic creatures really.
Becuase they are cold blooded, therefore "cold blooded killers".

No, not always. Argonians are depicted the same as every other race in Elder Scrolls: some assholes, some good people, criminals, merchants, regular joes, adventurers, etc. Just another citizen. Likewise, in Divinity, lizardfolks are playable and are integrated into society.
It's bugs that always get the short end of the stick. They don't even do anything interesting with them as enemies. Just eusocial hivemind cannon fodder, every fucking time.
Hollow Knight is the only game I can even think of where bugs are depicted as regular characters, and that hardly counts since they're all simplified cartoons.
