However I think someone could make a spiritual successor.
Bully with RPG elements. Stats like strength, intelligence, charisma, etc.. You can play a jock type, a nerd type, or just a rebel without a cause. It would need to be done right, but tell me how this is a bad idea.

Most of the team went on to make Sleeping Dogs, which you oughta play as it’s structurally and mechanically very similar to Bully. post-Bully they already had their own dev team; United Front Games. After S-E pulled the plug on Triad Wars, their Sleeping Dogs MMO concept, they put out Smash+Grab and died a month after. All the key people haven’t done shit since. They seem to be gone for good, sadly. Not many devs survive the brutal fucking that Square-Enix can deliver. Just look at GRIN.
