You start off at Morrowind slow then as you upgrade your cyberlegs you start to go sanic speed and jump like a madman

Leg make you go fast
Leg make you jump high
Leg let you stomp enemies to red mist and gibs
Leg let you run right into face of shooty man and cut him to ribbons/scatter him across the map depending on melee weapon choice

Your legs will get broken more often than you'd think. Guess the recearch budget on legs didn't cover durability

Cyberlegs are very important. I guess because of how ridiculously better than everything else leg upgrades are their memetic value was elevated.
The game also lets you know your leg status in the top left of the screen so it just took off on it's own.
Make sure to keep your legs OK and keep gaining brozouf.

If you repair yourself after taking damage and being slowed down to a crawl by it, a "my legs are OK" message is displayed.

Fuck that shit, it's fine in MP games where you're only scoping in for one or two guys, but when you're gunning down a far off horde it's a strain on your fingers.
You can sprint for just a second to make the scope disappear without toggling zoom levels anyways.

Do you mean the trick where you throw the medkit out and then get a new fully charged one from the armory or is there some fresh shenanigans I haven't heard of?

Dunno if you've seen the big ol' guides that spoil all the fun for new players, but there's one tip in the armory (or maybe weaponry) section that says your medkit fully recharges every time you get a new one out from the armory.
That's all well and good, but having infinite green medkit juice on the fly requires another step. It involves your inventory tab when you're not at an armory, and can also be used to fully reload smaller guns. Play around with that.

They introduce the mutants in a fucking slum where you have allies and turrets to mow them down, and then only after that do they do a scary dark level where you're supposed to be afraid of the same goddamn cannon fodder enemies you've already killed hundreds of, utter trash game design

Memes aside what the fuck were the devs thinking when they were making this game

It's based off a homebrew tabletop game they put together and takes aspects from a lot of other media they liked.
Putting all that in a blender was bound to make something crazy and the language barrier did not help at all with things making sense.
