They "brought the WAR back to WARcraft." Faction conflict is always best left as at most a backdrop. Cataclysm being about the faction war lead to endless alliance bitching. Legion, Mists, and even arguably Warlords have all been attempts to appease the bitching. However players still go "muh cata" so next expansion the third warchief gets axed

>implying arenas are bad

You obviously think from your three pvp matches of experience that the RBG system is the be all, end all of pvp gameplay.

Outland was boring as shit

Not him, but my biggest beef is with introducing resilence and splitting the gearing between the whole population of players. Wasn't it annoying to have that idiot arms warrior in your group, with his shitty gear?

Nothing? It was a solid expansion.

flying mounts didn't ruin TBC. Ruined the rest of the world though, that wasn't made for flying mounts. But that came after TBC

>BC questing
>the obnoxious nostalgia for the xpac from players who started post BC

>Raid Attunements
It hurt alot of the casual players and those that wanted to play alts.

The new races and starting areas were fucking awful but other than that, it was great and Outland was cool along with that big fucking portal that was awesome

Cataclysm happened.

Why is it only nostalgia for BC that bothers you dude? For fucks sake people have nostalgia for MoP now and that was 4 years ago

It's not as tragic as it looks. They just all hated that human so they started meeting someplace else for their photos and didn't tell him.

I got Ashes of Alar and Attuman's Mount, i did hero of Shattrath once it became a thing and raided sunwell until i got my legendary bow and also ran enough 5 mans to get Ravenlord and Swift White hawkstrider. Terrokar Forest and Nagran was the best zone Shattrath was the best city next to Dalaran. Hellfire Penninsula and Zangarmarsh was also awesome. I exalted every single faction possible.

The game was definitely hindered by being objectively and mechanically outdated. Tthe casual market focusing on a more convenient gaming media brought on my webgames/mobages, but the real nail in the coffin was as follows.

A sense of necessity in community was obliterated by individual convenience. More emphasis was put on individual milestones in the form of daily rewards and content, providing casual players with ease of access, but eliminating the exclusivity of achievement in the game. And they only continue to further this gap in Legion.

To put it simply, LFR.

40 man raid were the perfect size, guilds were big were known by everyone on a server. With lower raid cap guild became smaller and felt less like a real guild, but more like an improved friend list.

>Why is it only nostalgia for BC that bothers you dude?

Because they pretend BC is the best WoW game, but when you ask them why they just say "because the content was better" and ignore all the shitty things BC ruined.

only problem i have with new starting zones is that they are not part of old continent. they could release it for vanila players but block creating new races but no, they had to be jews and lock it behind portal
