Terraria has notable differences from Minecraft, it feels like it built off Minecraft but is still significantly different. Lawbreakers doesn't feel significantly different from games like Overwatch and Paladins
Even an industry behemoth like blizzard couldnt make a dent with HotS in the moba market and that game is f2p. Blizzard games do fantastic in the mainstream because of their fantastic art and character design is what sells. So I have no idea what cliff was thinking releasing his game at 30 bucks with really shitty character design.
Its a flop but not an interesting or funny one so noone really cares. what was special about battleborn was how much of a massive cuck and likely slightly mentally disabled person attached to the failure and the drama he caused.

You forgot that they did zero marketing for it. Almost no one knew it existed during the open beta. You know things are bad when an open beta only gets about 3500 players one week before release day.

I'm pretty sure Lawbreakers did worse playercount-wise but I don't think it cost nearly as much to develop and market as Blunderborne did.
