I always found the starting Cobalt shit, even upgraded, but I finished the entire game several times with Sonnys GTI. I swear that car is better than all those high end cars when upgraded to the max.

This happened with most Need for Speed games actually ever since Carbon and beyond. In fact, Carbon was much worse in terms of cut content, probably the worst in the series, at least in terms of Black Box games with Undercover right behind it.
