I just bought this on the Japanese PSN store, what am I in for?
Are there any good guides out there? I don't speak any Japanese.

idk but sword+gun style is batshit insane
How much is it on japanese PSN and how did u even navigate that place? I wanna buy this too.
4300 yen, so depending on your exchange rate, about $40. There's sealed copies on eBay for around the same price, just bear in mind.
On the HK store is at roughly 20 bucks
I can get it from here if I make a singapoor acc.
store.playstation.com
seems a lot cheaper than 40 bucks. I was gonna import it using play-asia but I can't wait for a physical copy for that long so I guess I can buy this digitally then get it physical later on, I got money to blow anyway.
Here you go: dropbox.com
This is how I played the game, works pretty well if you have a laptop or tablet on your lap while you play.
It's not that bad and I don't speak Japanese at all. It's just a lot of trial and error.
First you want to click on the tab to the left of the store and scroll all the way down to the option that says ゲーム. Then, click on the next tab that says ジャンル. The one you want is Action, and under each genre title are a few games that fall under that description. Crash Bandicoot is one of them, so keep scrolling right until you find it. Then, you want to scroll all the way down that page until you find Ishin. When you do, you should add the game to your cart (it's exactly the same as buying something on the regular PSN store).
The hardest part is getting the funds. Non-Japanese credit cards don't work (I think), so you'll have to buy a digital code from Play Asia. play-asia.com
I might make an image-based guide for this, but people normally buy physical copies of Ishin. I want to play it as fast as possible, though, so I had to do all this shit myself. Maybe it's useful if you want to play Dragon Quest XI or some other Japanese-only game.
Thanks. I can't wait to play this game, I've been looking forward to it since I started playing these games again
Cool, i'm gonna do that right now and use this guide too
and see how it goes.
>You can choose ex hard/legend as a new game+ difficulty on all games
>but not in 0 that has the worst time sink side stuff to unlock abilities
Fuck this shit
You'll enjoy Kiwami, then, since you have to do a ton of Majima Everywhere stuff all over again if you like using the DoD style.
If you have any trouble, just ask and I'll help.
Reason they did that was because using their fully upgraded saves with golden gun, war god talisman etc has been the go to strat for people doing Legend runs for years now.
Kiwami keeps all your abilities unlocked for NG+ Legend Mode, even the ones from the Komaki substories.
>can't read Japanese
>buy Japan exclusive game
the fuck lol
It's almost like I care about fun gameplay more than understanding the story, or something
It does? I thought it was like 0.
Just sell the plates you get with the DLC for 100 million right at the start. I only did the first Real Estate billionaire in my Legend playthrough just to unlock more health upgrades for Kiryu, I didn't want to get bumrushed by those shotgun enemies on the boat in the final chapter. I didn't bother unlocking any of the other outer upgrades for Majima or Kiryu and I beat the game with no problems, burned through it in around four or five hours. I did enough CP stuff to get Majima the golden shotgun on that file and that was frankly overkill, if you can beat the game on normal or hard with 100% you can do it with a handicap on Legend.
And then they let you do it again right away in Kiwami. Only Dead Souls and 0 force you to start a new game from scratch if you're doing a playthrough on the hardest difficulty.
Do you by any chance have the site link to the game on PSN?
store.playstation.com
The PSN desktop store is glitchy as fuck for me, so I don't know if buying it through here works.
hmm, that's the singapoor one
It'll change to the Japanese one if you log in with a Japanese account.
Yakuza is story-based game
its gameplay is shallow and repetitive
I disagree, which is why I bought Ishin.
why would you pay money for shit without researching it first?
oh really? cool, i'm just waiting for play-asia to send me my psn code.
>learning japanese cause too tired of waiting for localization
>mfw it's probably gonna be 2 months learning how to read the runes
well at least I'll be done by the time they release Kiwami 3.
