>how fucked am I for redeeming? >Is it worth paying for Reaper of Souls? >Is Rise of the Necromancer worth another $15? >Is anyone still playing?
Also, I have RoS edition on PS4 and have never played Diablo on PC. Worth starting again?
Grayson Rogers
everyone says its much much better than when it was first released. lots of things got reworked. the money making scheme got taken out.
John Nelson
RoS is infinitely better then base D3, however if you dislike grinding gear in order to kill monsters better so you can grind better gear in order to kill monsters better so you can get the idea it's not that much different. I'd stay off D3 on consoles tho, data stored locally means far too many have outright hacked items with several more sockets and modified stats that completely shits on any legit gear around, like litterally unreachable stats through legit play.
Evan Ross
Reaper of Souls is very worth it if you like the base game, I haven't bought Necromancer but it's way too expensive for a single class.
Oliver Rodriguez
I really want Necromancer but i don't want to pay more than $5 for it.
Probably never getting it.
Dominic Lopez
I first played it on PS4, so I never had to deal with the marketplace BS.
Also last time I played was back when rift trials were a thing. 2 years ago?
Eli Mitchell
Rise of the necromancer isn't really worth it unless you're desperate for the necro life or you want an ez mode op character early. Reaper of souls is a must, there is no debating this. Without reaper of souls you don't get any of the good endgame content and there's no real reason to play.
Asher Garcia
Diablo 3 is one of those rare cases where PC version is inferior to console version, but that's mostly because of Blizzard's incompetence.
PC version is always-online with minor server problems, does not have local co-op, does not have controller support and is locked tight to Battle.net ecosystem.
Joshua Perry
RoS is p. good, necro is shit
Lincoln Bell
play path of exile ... way better and free
Evan Johnson
It's a completely different game, both are good in their own ways.
Christopher White
>muh poe Yeah, Path of Exile is pretty good, but stop shilling it on every Diablo thread ever.
Parker Reyes
At the start of the season I realized that I have a max level of every class other than necro, and I just didn't play. Is it worth shelling out the $15?PoE actually makes gives me motion sickness somehow. One of the only games that does it to me. Feels bad man.
Austin Sullivan
>max level With RoS max level is just the beginning, if you don't have it then you should certainly get it over the overpriced necromancer bullshit.
Anthony Edwards
Necro isn't worth it unless you're a necromain from D2 and want to experience it again.
>Better Very debatable.
Blake Gutierrez
I play through this game like twice a year for seasonal characters. Is it a great game? no. Is it fun to kill time with (especially if you got it for free) sure. Reaper of souls adds a lot of content so if you enjoyed the base game then get RoS. Necromancer dosnt add that much content so 15 dollars seems like highway robbery. Personally I bought the necromancer on the day it came out and ive only gotten to like level 20 or something before I gave up. Anyway, you have the game already, just play it.
Luke Parker
>Is Rise of the Necromancer worth another $15?
Oh, absolutely. I'll just put this in my ActivisionBlizzard™ tax haven, thanks goy.
Isaiah Walker
I have RoS but I know what you're saying. I just feel like it's a waste to have multiple characters of the same class stuck in standard after the end of the season.
Although I just remembered rebirth was a thing.
Michael Ward
Diablo III is a fun game but there are bad things about it. The Necromancer is broken as shit. It is in every #1 spot on the leaderboards effectively making the game that much more pointless. Diablo 2&3 have what is known as a ladder which is wiped every few months, 6+ months in the case of D2. the alluring point of it is to rush to the top of the ladder for bragging rights. the only viable way of doing that now is to buy that $15 Necro. which is overpriced for only being a single fucking character and one that fucks everything up by existing.
also, the end game does not allow for use of your unique build. you absolutely have to use the only one elite set that will clearly outperforms the others for each respective character.
so the point is to climb the leader boards and get the best gear which comes out to, buy the Necro, use the only good set, battle other people doing the same thing.
it's not a game that you should ever take seriously. I would never look anything up because it will ruin any salvageable fun.
otherwise, it is fun to hunt for loot in the game. it has a really cool shell with loads of random events that are enjoyable. my favorite was Greed but since u can just use puzzle rings now it lost its appeal. as a mindless loot hunting game, it's fun if you spend $30 tops for everything.
Logan James
>muh ladder and optimal builds no one cares about that except minmaxing faggots
Jaxon Torres
that's the only end game content if you play this game for 2 hours every month or so, yeah, who gives a shit but this is a game where you're encouraged to rush to max level and make the most optimal build so you can endlessly farm rifts and stare at the leaderboards. that's the only reason to play this shit. it is a great deal more focused on playing by yourself than Diablo 2 was.
