I'm looking forward to playing that, but if you wanted to get people to talk about it, then I don't think starting the thread with a shitpost, even if trying to be ironic, is a good idea. That strategy only really works for more popular games.

You will probably love this game. It's said to be better then Steins;Gate and one of the best VN's ever made.

Not the same guy but what did the anime even adapt? I'm curious on whether it only adapted one route or if it adapted the entire thing crammed together.

It tried to adapt one girl's and the true ending's route together. Even though in the game, you need to play all the routes to fully understand the story. Basically they tried to adopt the popular girl and the true route.

It didn't go well, as popular girl has some of the biggest plot twists in the game and they just spoil it like it's nothing.

Common route, then skipped straight to the true ending.
They crammed a certain reveal about one of the characters that only becomes apparent in a character route into it. It was a mess.

You need to play all routes to unlock the true ending, but you cannot convince me that Hinae's, Hana's, and Uki's routes in any way expanded upon the main story.

I mean they reveal certain aspects of things. They are needed to enjoy and love the true ending more.

Hey. It's "I just started playing ;Head"-user from last thread. Does the initial Medical Record Diagnosis make any difference to the story, if so, which?

My advice would be not to ask too many questions about what affects the ending until after you get an ending, but maybe check a guide if you have trouble getting past potential bad ends, which I think there was only two. Also, glasses or no glasses?

It's very different from S;G. It's a murder mystery thriller with some supernatural elements.

Chaos;Head isn't that long if you want to read it before this release. I was able to finish it in three days. It's also a pretty good VN if you go into it expecting most of it to be about a guy going crazy and talking with his waifu inside his room most of the time. There's also an anime that would take less time watching, but I'm not sure how good it is. The quality didn't look that great, to be honest.

You shouldn't watch the Chaos;Child and Chaos;Head Anime. You don't need to play Chaos;head to understand Chaos;child.

don't really udnerstand why I'd like the vn then. I'm guessing what happens in the common route and true end stays the same, same characters, same plot twist. I don't think experiencing that (and extra content) in vn form would make me think any highly of it.

They cut out a lot of stuff. All the character development, motivations, stories, everything like that. They cut it all out and just skipped to the murders.

Most of what happened was ""anime original", aka "we took some random plot points from different routes and blended it together with a chainsaw"
