I've honestly been enjoying my time so far.

The moment Sup Forums dedicatedly hated something it means it was good.

Yeah it is. Better than 2, but still not as good as 1. Solid 8/10, no idea about the DLCs tho.

yeah it's a good game. The movement and combat is very polished.

It's my favourite Dark Souls game though my favourite in Soulsborne is Bloodborne

It's fun, but not as fun as the first one. The first one you could choose different routes.

Because while it's pretty good (for one playthrough) it is easy to nitpick the game intensively for major and minor flaws and it's clear that From Software didn't put as much effort into this as they should have.

Movement is polished. Combat is polished shit at best.

Don't forget it's deluxe, include all the dlcs.

The DLCs are pretty decent. If you expect something in the line of earlier DLCs from the two other souls games, these will scratch that itch.

This game is a chore to get through and has a retarded npc questline system. Don't lie to yourself.

Well, lets look at why people dislike Dark Souls 3
-Poor to terrible weapon/spell balance (this complaint is bigger than it may first appear as it also hurts exploration as the player rarely finds better or more fun gear than what they started with)
-Linear level design making every playthrough the same (It's even worse in the beginning of the game)
-No Originality (I love DaS1 but DaS3 was developed too soon to try to sell this much nostalgia for the first game)
-Player location in a fight rarely matters when compared to the other games (most enemy attacks will go to and reach the player no matter the distance). This makes the game more repetitive as almost all attacks are just last second dodging
-Invasions are poorly set up
-Stats like poise that were in the game but did literally nothing on launch

I thought the game was good my first time through using a longsword as well op.
All the other Souls games are fun for more than one playthrough, Dark Souls 3 is not.

All console Souls run at 30fps. Actually BB runs the smoothest if played on the Pro.

This is to ensure Sup Forumsirgins can enjoy the game in question comfortably, knowing that they like a game "everyone hates". Makes them feel like snowflakes and like they discovered a hidden gem. After a while, when the jig is up, people find out the game they initially heard was shit, is actually good. Then the icing on the cake is when Sup Forums says " Yeah it was good before the fanbase went to shit".
By this time they have migrated to another game to "hate".

Yep You're right it does run at 60fps. I only played vanilla I didn't know.

Something about DaS3 just isn't fun. And I realized recently. There are a lot of good bosses probably the best overall in Soulsborne. But weapons lack personality and are balanced around PVP and replaying levels just feels awful. Traversing levels takes nothing and feels meaningless like at any time you can fully opt out of a situation because of movement speed and such.

Lets not forget invasions auto searching ganks/coopers before people alone unlike previous games. Second worse invasion system after BB and even the Nightmare Frontier areas were far more fun then DaS3 invasions.

I will say its PVP 1v1 is more enjoyable to me that DaS2. The only thing 2 has going for it is the fact most of its hitboxes are better but then most people run thrusting weapons which are more broken then most anything in 3 Hitbox wise. But despite 3s phantom range/AOE like hitboxes its movement/reward for baiting is better and more like DaS1 but without 100 game breaking glitches.

DaS3 is good as a boss rush game but playing the game itself again and again starts to cause a headache.

Demon's Souls had the best levels.

While practically improving on all the mechanics of the original, I think a lot of people hate it because of how iterative it is, pretty much checking all the boxes that the first dark souls established and the story being a re-run of DS1

Over all it has more fun bosses then any previous games, removes armor reinforcing, best upgrade system so far great music, but unoriginal and the weakest dlc, Sup Forums probably hates it because it was the game where Souls pretty much became mainstream-popular

They also hating really bad games often to confuse the shit out of everyone.

There is no bad Soulsborne game.

When Sup Forums says Dark Souls 3 or 2 are terrible games, it means they're good, but not as much as Dark Souls 1. People basically have DS1 as a high standard, so when something a little worse comes out they say inmediatly it's shit.

Also there are some problems in DS3 like poise.
