Is it good? if not explain.
Only shills talk about it. Go away shill.

>threads dried up as soon as the devs stopped shilling
Really makes you think.
it is beta, but basic systems are great. best gungame, gun mechanics i`ve seen up to date. you can literally put different ammo into magazine, one bullet at a time. im just surprised noone ever mentions it
>muh shill boogeyman
if you have nothing to add just go wank it to japanese anime as you always do
>you can literally put different ammo into magazine, one bullet at a time.
Realy? how?
>thinking i watch anime
I am so dead inside that only shitposting is interesting. Fuck off.
The crazy STALKER people were mad at it the other day for some reason.
I was really excited about it until I found out you had to pay like 50 burgers to get into the beta, and my interest kinda petered off.
Do you respawn? Because if you do, then that's a worthless mechanic. Even if you don't, it's still a gimmick if it aims to be a realistic game, because either bullet will hurt and kill you and the difference is negligible.
Wasn't it 30 dollarydoos?
Not even true.
That said, the idea would be to stagger tracers.
It's overpriced as fuck.
AI goes from full retard to aimbot in the blink of an eye and thanks to losing anything you don't extract with it's immensely frustrating.
Factory runs become incredibly boring and there's always the chance you'll lose everything anyway because some dude with Fort armour and a suppressed m4 is lurking near an extract
How is it not true?
It's a videogame. If it tries to be realistic, in both scope and authenticity, then you getting shot with any type of bullet will disable you. It doesn't matter, because you wouldn't be able to keep fighting. Even games that try to be realistic like OFP/ARMA suffer from that and have to fall back to arcadey things like being patched up by magical medics.
What's the point of tracers when a firefight lasts 7 seconds? There is no point.
Same reason you can do a chamber check, or inspect the gun you're using.
The devs thought it'd be cool
Not him and not to defer from your point but name games that do realistic medical treatment.
Because its hot garbage.
None do. It's out of scope of any game.
The way it ties into the whole discussion is that if a game tries to be reasonably realistic, it doesn't really matter what type of bullet you use (apart from minor caliber differences between weapons) at the typical engagement ranges in videogames (30 meters). Specifically that ability to manually load magazines with bullets is nothing more than a gimmick.
Arma 3 with ace depending on the settings can be piss easy to very realistic. You use different bandages for different types of wounds, use tourniquets and have to take them out before you lose blood flow, you have to maintain heart rate and blood pressure with saline and morphine , you can take a wound and have to be evaced back to a medical facility where a soldier trained as a surgeon has to operate on you etc etc.
mgsv
PUBG killed it
user how many reefers have you injected?
Disgusting pricing & preorder structure.
Overhyped stalker wannabe multiplayer arena shooter.
Let me know if they get a singleplayer story and stop trying to rape their playerbase's wallets and i'll give this overgrown cod map of a game another look.
>press F to operate
>then you getting shot with any type of bullet will disable you
t. person that not only has never been shot, but probably never suffered any serious harm
If you get hit with a bullet in your arm, you won't just fall to the ground and die, you'd get the fuck out of there. Even a whole series of bullets into your chest will allow you to fight for even a couple of minutes until you bleed out.
Honestly the reason why I lost all interest on this game was because it looks blurry as fuck, it looks like when I take my glasses off and I suffer astigmatism only on my left eye which is even worse than both eyes since when it is in both eyes everything look blurry evenly but with just one eye not only looks blurry but it fucking hurts looking at bright lights.
Just looking at this game recreates that experience.
So I'm expected you're one of these elite dudes that's been shot and continued fighting?
N-no it's the h button for the medical menu
Its pretty mediocre honestly. So far I've seen the most success running around with cheap firearms and using cheap tactics to go with them.
Sometimes an enemy, NPC or player, no matter, will win just because they have better gear. Players definite strength is that there are usually more of them, in a party or something.
I tend to get bored and just do whatever I think will result in action for the lowest cost of time or in-game money, since grinding for gear and then losing it because of bad hit detection is a very real problem.
Jumping out of a bush and hosing someone with an AK is always fun and hilarious, but that can be said of any game with AK's and bushes. The only strength EFT has is in group play, spending time gaming with your friends and working towards a goal for one player, or for the group. It brings you together but again, so does practically any game where you can work together with your friends, which is nearly every game out there.
I guess in EFT you're working towards building your character, and your stash. In lots of games you're really only building your skill over time, whereas in this you have a definite visual indicator of how well things are going - whether or not you've got lots of money and a stash filled with neat guns.
I rate it 5/10 at the moment, completely middle of the road and doesn't really offer anything unique. I bought it because I have a soft spot for stalker and similar games.
Not this user but to add onto it, many things in the game are gear-controlled.
You can buy/find an item that makes your in-game hearing better.
It might not be pay to win but it gives more data to players with longer play time. They'll know the maps better, the performance of each weapon, they'll have been in more situations similar to one you find yourself in when facing off, and on top of that their gear doesn't just make them able to deal and resist more damage, on top of all that the game will literally feed them better data with which to make decisions, in a game where you can lose your hard-earned loot because of literally any encounter.
I think this is a bad thing.
looks like the typical generic shooter to me
considering how much Sup Forums complains about CoD clones, not surprising that no one talks about it
Microtransactions in general are bad, that's nothing new.
Well I don't think it has any microtransactions, you don't pay real money for this gear, but you have to spend a lot of time playing to level up traders, which unlocks better gear for purchase.
Basically it's one of those games that puts rewarding the number of hours invested above rewarding player skill.
In a most shooters the player with more hours will probably win because of map knowledge, aim and so on, but a guy with more skill might still win over a guy with more hours, happens all the time.
In tarkov a more skilled player might win an encounter over a player with more hours, but the likelihood is less. Combined with the fact that winning a single encounter isn't a big deal, and that success in tarkov is measured over a much longer timeline, a more skilled player will overall lose out to people with more hours, because they can recoup their losses and failures more easily through levelled up traders, less likelihood of failure because of better protection, more easily re-gear with top of the line weapons because of traders, etc etc.
I'm not saying it doesn't take skill to play, but the emphasis is more on playtime.
is it finished
So is it like a DayZ kind of game with an open world?
What exactly can I do there? Just collect some guns and walk around shooting people?
just literally drag ammo into magazine, from your inventory. inv. management is like stalker/any rpg. so you can make 30rnd mag like tracer/ap/hollowpoint/tracer/tracer what ever you like
Yes, if you consider the Scavs as zombies
that is fair point. i caved into the premise, and bought it for 120 euros. yes, yes i know. but i suggest to wait, or buy the basic pack for 30 dolariidoos. it will be worth it
different target audiences
fair points, but players with better geart should win 9/10 out of times in fair fight.
>Just collect some guns and walk around shooting people?
Yes exactly.
You spawn in at one of a handful of PMC spawn points which are always the same, AI scavs spawn in at scav-only spawns and then roam around the map, in the last update the scavs roam a little bit more but not too much. Humans can opt to play as a scav, and will load in and take control of one of the living ones, this might be shortly after it spawns, or after it has been wandering around. Even with the wandering they don't really go far or do much, and tend to try to control a certain area unless attacked, once they fend off an attack they'll return to controlling their little area until they're all dead.
The game basically consists of spawning in, checking the routes between PMC spawns, high yield loot areas, and high population scav areas, and sometimes people camping extraction zones.
>spawn
>I have spawned at PMC spawn #3/7 or whatever
>there might be players who spawned nearby at #2 and #4
>they'll either come and attack other players from spawn or go to this part of the map over here for common loot
>I'll go from here to player spawn #2 because that is the safest route
>now I'll go to this scav+loot area because since I didn't run into anyone and haven't heard any shots I know the loot is probably still there and I can kill a few (probably) AI scavs since player controlled scavs are on a time-delay
>made it through a handful of areas, have a little bit of loot
>made it to an extraction zone, took control of it without incident
>camp here for a while and maybe ambush a solo player or group
>then extract
>repeat forever
That is the beta right now
because you didn't pay them enough Sergey
What do you mean they stopped? This thread clearly says otherwise.
Nah people like you call everyone a shill so most people stopped making threads because there is no discussion just spergs like you and people who lie.
So you can put one bullet at a time into your magazines?
you can :^)
How's the singleplayer?
There is none
oof
oh, i thought this was going to be the next stalker. i didn't realize it was DayZ. that sucks.
if you die you lose everything you had on yourself except small safe container which could fit maybe a pistol, 2 mags and a gauze. You will always lose your rifle, ammo to that rifle, attachments, backpack, helmet, vest, granades.
if you have modern kevlar vest you can block few bullets with no damage what so ever, you will feel like someone hit you with fist in your stomach but you should be fine
this never happened to me, stop playing on somalian pirate mc donald's iwifi fag :*********
Because even WarThunder is a better game than this directionless piece of shit. Nikita and BSG should be burned at the stake.
>Literally claiming that if you get shot ANYWHERE with ANY type of bullet you are instantly dead
Stop fucking talking about things you know nothing about you absolute dumb fucking retard holy shit.
>WarThunder is a better game
kek, i hope you will enjoy 100 years of grind to have privilege to buy new tanks, also don't forget to buy premium or you will be losing cash ever 2nd battle :*
I thought War Thunder was a dogfighting game?
Better than a 150$ Early Access "Alpha" that after a year still can't fix server issues and everything they add is half baked and not thought out :^)
