Back when I was alive I used to play this all the time over and over again. Now I rarely play games a second time. What was the last game you played twice in a row.

Hard mode: Game has no replay value and no trophies attached to playing the game a second time.

I played through Chrono Trigger several times, as typical as it is I still consider it the best JRPG around
I also replayed New Vegas countless of times

You already posted it. Such an easy game to go back to.

are you dead now? wtf

>Back when I was alive

>heroes of might and magic III
>max payne 1
I play both of those almost every year, currently playing the new campaings of homm3.

Are you a skeleton?

My bad i meant "a kid" stupid auto correct.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I never got around to playing it until last year, I've now replayed it six or seven times and I still play it almost everyday in lieu of playing these dang old newfangled games. On the NES the original Castlevania, probably on my fifteenth play through.

I haven't been replaying games because for the past year I've been focusing on finishing my backlog of games I've never finished or never even touched. I've made tons of progress and I'm having more fun than I've ever had playing games.

Don't try to fool us OP, you're a fucking skeleton. How is the life of a skeleton? I'm actually curious.

>Back when I was alive
Hello Mozart.

Fucking skellingtons coming out already and it's not even October

>Back when I was alive

>Back when I was alive

He's a spooky dookie

Fuck off fleshfags.

Embarrassing.

>back when I was alive

Zelda: Windwaker

This game. I think something's wrong with me.

i think the internet ruined games. It ruin the mystery and awe of new games. Most company's spoil 90% of the game they made in just reveal trailers.

why is everybody participating in a skeleton poster thread?

>linked the wrong post
Skinfags, everyone.

>Back when I was alive

I found my old people a couple weeks ago and my old games. My favorite has to be fight night round three. AMA

Good for you, man. That's something that I definitely need to do, there's too many games on my Steam I haven't played

>Back when I was alive

>Back when I was alive

I play pic related all the time.

That's true. At the same time though, we have money now and can buy as many games as we want, unlike when we were children. I do agree though, I think the internet has something to do with it as well

What game is that?

"I don't keep it loaded, son. You're gonna have to find ammo as you go."

Ocarina of time, this year, but I've stopped in the water temple (Master Quest).

>What was the last game you played twice in a row

If we exclude games like roguelikes or 4x then this idea feels very wrong to me. Why would you start another playthrough of a linear platformer immediately after getting to the end?

There are some linear games I like to replay a few times a year, but even then I have to take a lengthy break each time and play other games.

Daniel please stop playing the warriors

No.

>Why would you start another playthrough of a linear platformer immediately after getting to the end?

Because fun

new campaigns?

I have beaten final fantasy viii/x like 15 times each. They are long ass games too, it is just a pure love and passion for them.

For the past 3 years I have regularly turned on gtav and play for hours. I've beat the story only once but yeah

put me in the screencap, reddit

DX: Mankind Divided.
Great stuff but I hope the executives of Squeenix die for what they did to my favorite series

>actually believing a dead person can post

...

Final Fantasy Type 0 HD.
Earlier this year.
Played it 3 times in a row.

I can get it now for 5 bucks is it good?

>Back when I was alive I used to play this all the time over and over again. Now I rarely play games a second time.
A child's brain has a much lower threshold for novelty. Alternatively, when you were young, you had much fewer games to play available.

Now, you have many. Why replay one when there's an equally-excellent other game right around the corner? To replay the same game would be to deny the second experience.

it's superb, especially if you're a fan of the series already. Tons of unique kind of replay value; you NEED to play it multiple times. I got over 200h clocked on it within a single month.

I know that feel, but I still very much replay a good amount of them consistantly and indefinitely.
Some more frequently than others and sometimes it takes a couple years, but there are a few of them.

Ace Combat 2.
Vanguard Bandits.
Dino Crisis 2.
Battalion Wars 2.
Most Fire Emblem games.
Most Zelda games.
Some Kirby games.
Civ 5, though that's a more sandboxy one, as well as Age of Empires 2.
Souls games.
Pokemon Crystal.
Tropico (only the first one, preferably without the expansion).
The first Witcher.

These are some of the ones I can think of the top of my head. There are probably a bunch of others, but yeah, it's impossible to do it with EVERY game like I used to when I only had 10 or so of them each generation + rentals and loans.

I replay San Andreas once a year, usually around holiday times.
I try to replay the MGS series once a year but I get discouraged because I can't just play it anymore and need to get Foxhound/Big Boss rank when I play it. So when I get found out a few times I stop.

>actually believing other people actually believe dead people can post

I replayed Final Fantasy 13 twice. Once on PS3 and then again on 360 within an 8 month period.

and I got all the cheevos on the 360 version. Don't know what's wrong with me but I fucking loved FFXIII

Only recent game Ive replayed was shovel knight, may replay hollow knight and 100% it. Usually I replay old games of my childhood. My go to list of once a year games
>quake
>doom 1&2
>starcraft
>sonic 2 3 & knuckles
>earthworm jim
>biohazard battle
>random classic mario
Ive noticed that literally no AAA modern titles have any long term value to me. Makes me feel like im wasting my gaming pc

Underrail.
I also usually play Zero Mission once a year.
