Shit, you made me remember this. Was quite a comfy CYOA book full of Quake slang and operating in Russian tunnels. Basically, somebody wants to kill a group of Quake players and baits them to go in real life building with a Quake mod disc, promising continuation on site (because uhhh, it's easier than kidnapping them). They go in with fucking paintguns and hazmats and they banter all the way in until one of the endings (most of which are them dying in some traps).
