I never finished this, kind of took a break and forgot how to play when I got back to it, and didnt want to restart
But it was good from how far I got into it
Comparatively speak, this was actually one of the best gen 7 jrpgs.
Unfortunately it's just another game that will eternally be filed under "Games with untapped potential that will never get a sequel to have a second chance at seeing it fully realized."
I loved this game so much. Lots of childhood memories.
I'm still waiting for Bomberman Land 4 on switch that will never happen...
Jack Moschet was starving...
How did they make Chopin into a game?
Loved that game, played it to the end too
They make a cute couple
Any chance this will get backwards comp on xbone? asking for a friend
Basically the dream is Chopin's hallucination as he processes his death. In the game, all character's that have magic are dying, and normie characters are all healthy.
Persona 4 golden
never been too big into JRPGs but i kept hearing good things about it. i fell in love.
I liked Eternal Sonata at first but it got pretty tedious fighting normal battles
boss fights were the best part but it was a slog after a while
not for everyone but I dug it
Pretty much every childish looking game ever, I always underestimate then, but when I eventually get around to it I have a blast, PoPoLoCrois, Madou Monogatari, Rhapsody, Puyo Puyo, and even those fucking Hamtaro games, they are just so good.
CoD:WWII was my last time trying to hard to play manly normalfag games, it was shit, I give up. Cute games are the safest bet for a good game, at least I have never been disappointed by one.
I'm playing on PS3 right now.
i'm liking it a lot but fuck that 6° final chapter boss, 2-shotting the tank because you didn't guarded within 0,5 second timeframe is extremely fucking retarded.
Is there any endgame stuff? I have some doubts as so far all "dungeons" were really straightfoward.
hwat
that actually sounds like a good plot for a jrpg
too bad that a 10-second glimpse of the gameplay put me off immediately
Soundtrack is great though. Excellent recordings of Chopin's pieces.
Not even trolling, went back to play it a few months ago as I only did a few chapters back in the ps2 days.
The game does try shake things up with the "Party level" which is an interesting idea to not scare newcomers and then try to shake things to not feel it dull
Level 1 you get infinite time planning and you get 5 seconds that goes down when you move
Level 5 you get 0 planning time, 4 seconds that goes down right away and everyone get a 50% bonus movement speed that stack with other boosters so you can become fucking Sonic the Note
I thought it'd bore me to death and don't even remember why I even try it in the first place
Turned out to be the most fun gta clone I played since saints row 2
I hate excessive gore and 2deep indie shit, and I somehow loved this.

THe gameplay is some of the better ones out there in jrpgs though, especially the light and shadow system. Don't judge gameplay by a few seconds, let alone by never playing it.
Also ice endgame content
The gameplay becomes more bearable when you unlock the combo gauge later in the game, but it is pretty dull.
The plot is worth it tho.
Never finished. I enjoy it overall, the soundtrack, the battle system was interesting, the world itself looked great. Some boss battles were annoying though
>played until that part "please, just die character that nobody cares about, stop wasting my time"
>read this
Doesn't surprise me. Game is always taking about dreams, thoughts and death. Chopin was pretty clear was either dead or about to die somewhere
I would fuck around with the normal battles. Whatever the name of the archer, she was the one that i enjoyed to play the most
Please tell me someone else here played and loved this

Opposite for me. Liked episode 1 and bought the season pack after finishing. Regretted my purchase.
