How's that dungeon crawling coming along?
How's that dungeon crawling coming along?
Have to stop to fap.
Still waiting for Coven
I had to put it on hold for tests this week, but I'm back to making progress. I'm in chapter 3 at the moment, just destroyed the core in the temple. So far mai waifu is Little Red, but I'll see for sure when I have everyone in my party. I like the game a lot so far.
What should I do with Little Red by the way? She's got Job Rights, but I really don't want to move her out of Leech even if it means more skills. She's absolutely fucking broken right now. Would it be a good idea to demote her to level 15, use her job rights to become a Fairy, then change jobs back to Leech when she gets more Rights at level 20?
I have no idea, because my Red is absolute shit. I built her completely wrong and made her a fighter with fighter skills when she's a mage.
And have fun at the temple boss, it confused teh shit out of me
Seriously? Her physical skills as a leach wreck absolute shit, she's by far my strongest right now as a physical attacker. She's my dungeon sweeper, and she's only ever outclassed in damage by blood lord Alice against bosses since she has better single target stuff. Whenever I use red's magic skills they suck ass. My dedicated mage is instead Thumbelina.
wow our equipment must be so different.
My best physical attacker is Sleepy as a chain gunner.
I just got Cinderella and I like the Marshall class so far.
My Alice is a Paladin right now, and doesn't seem to do much besides be in the backrow and using cover.
I just classed Sleepy into a gunner, but I've been keeping Kaguya in my party instead since I got her, might swap them out if she's that good. I thought I needed her for her ability but It turns out you can just use them while they're supporting.
Marshall is really good, yeah. That was my first class change for Alice. Muh duck tier design as well. Don't think I'll put her in paladin since I like her as an attacker, and I heard she's broken as a destroyer.
They're the same stat wise. I think licking Kaguya is better than licking Sleepy though. But that said, everyone just licks Snow White so it's pointless.
I will say I'm suprrised poison works so well, so having Sleepy as a partner is probably better. that stealing 50 pieces of gold or so. I just hate Kaguya's design
>hate Kaguya's design
agreed, that hovercraft thing looks really stupid when she's supposed to be a physical attacker. Bows be damned, she's holding a knife in her dark seeker art.
>poison
Does support ability change with job? because as a dark seeker i thought her support ability was chance of darkness on hit, though I could be wrong.
I have no clue, I never checked. And I found out fighting the nightmares is 100% worth it.
The drops from the nightmares are amazing.
I'm still in the graveyard but it's fun. The dungeon is pretty interesting to explore and the characters are fun.
I thought they were required fights anyway?
On steam?
the dungeons are so freaking big.
after you break the core they are, but before then and while they're still indestructible, it's worth fighting them. Breaking their parts is easy, and the drops are so worth it
in a year
Oh, a new dungeon craw-
>Compile Heart
>YOU WAIFU FAGS NEVER TALK ABOUT THE GAMEPLAY!!!
>Talk about gameplay
>Uhh... COMPILE HEART!!!!
See, that's what I thought too, but it turned out that they made a legitimately solid DRPG. Not on Strange Journey or EO level, but still pretty damn fun. The dungeons themselves are nothing special, but the mechanics make them fun to explore.
I admit I came for the girls and stayed for the game
I thought the dungeons are great. You actually revisit the dungeons over and over as you get new characters. And having them all interconnected is an awesome touch
Yeah, I liked that aspect of the dungeons a lot. There's plenty of content to explore just for the sake of exploring once you get new abilities and it's great how everything's connected, but the actual dungeons themselves aren't as good as in EO in my opinion. Like I said, they're still plenty fun to explore, but they aren't standout. And it's a minor gripe, but I would have liked it if floors overlapped more (e.g. you go upstairs on the north side of Floor 2, come out on the south side of Floor 3)
Who is this semen demon?
Says in the filename, it's Cinderella
I. See what you mean. I agree with that. The dungeons lack some sense of just a building or a small space. Everything just felt like a giant maze.
Yeah, though that's not really too much to hold against the game, it's just a minor annoyance for me. They've got a really solid groundwork here, I'm honestly hoping they make a sequel or at least spiritual successor, depending on how it ends since I have no idea where the story is going. It seems really interesting though.
>mfw Ch3 seeing the security cams in the lab
Shit is freaky as hell I don't trust anyone in the game. The professor looks so fucking evil the minute you meet him. And the priests get food for free somewhere
The story feels like a huge Solent Green vibe.
>the priests get food for free somewhere
You find out pretty soon if you do events The produce grows from the Jail's own body, and they have no idea if it affects people or not
