The problem with Wolfenstein 2 is multifaceted. It is the antithesis of what its creators want to achieve - being edgy for the sake of being edgy.
This game reminds me of Hatred, which is fine and nothing wrong with that, people will like it, whatever. But it's equivalent of cheap humor, like yelling "penis!" as loud as you can and expecting everybody else to laugh too.
After you remove all the LARPing and astroturfing, you will realize this game really doesn't make sense on a more holistic level when it comes to storytelling and will be quickly forgotten.
Just look at those two in the back enjoying it.
