How are they randumb? They both have their set personality and they are always the same, their designs aren't anything unusual and the closest to randumb would be the chainsaw cutscene on failed execution but even then it still fits their characters and isn't really over the top compared to the rest of the game.

Elizabeth casually blows up Erebus every year or so just so door-kun can rest in peace, so I would hesitate to call her mortal, and she still has access to a compendium.

That's not a real answer, also they never beat Nyx, Door-kun sealed her away with his final power. They're not even close to the level of being able to take on a planet busting death god. P3's version of Nyx is even stronger than the SMT one.

That option is always on the table, it's why Liz is searching for more power or strong allies to help her actually beat Nyx. That or changing human nature, but that seems even harder than killing Nyx.
