SON OF MAN, WHY DO YOU BUY WESTERN GAMES?

SON OF MAN, WHY DO YOU BUY WESTERN GAMES?

They can be pretty good from time to time.

>buying games

pic not related

>furshit
>good

Because the japs don't always have what I like on offer. Sometimes I wanna play a cowboy and sometimes I wanna use a dagger that reverses time.

XD

Cause sometimes I want to Betatron, go cry to your faggy ass master *recordscratch*

>western

chaosfag go home

because both markets make good games sometimes

but they both mostly make shit

...

I like western games

The true ending to Persona 5 pissed me off so damn much. Spent forever trying to make angels, then I was forced to fight against them.

...

...

>Not enjoying saving Christmas with Satanel.
Come on dude, The Demiurge isn't even God, it's some faggot that thinks he is.

I haven't bought a western game since Steamworld Heist, which I have yet to beat.

Currently, I give it a "it's okay"/10

...

The West makes good games.

...

...

3D Platformers are the only Western games I can really get into, too bad they don't make them anymore.

>posting jak and daxter
The west hasn't made actual games like these in almost two decades.

I guess they've made Yooka Laylee and Hat in Time just recently. Do those count?

>chaosfaggots

I pirate games too but I always buy ATLUS games.

...

Bully is one of the greatest games ever made.

I buy games except Atlus ones which I pirate.

Weeb games are shit.

>lawful demons are buyfags

I totally refuse to buy personashit.

I always bought the mainline games tought.

...

Name one weeb game that's better than Deus Ex. You can't.

What about a 'Oui-b' game?

This

That's a close one. Sometimes I hate the French but they really know how to make rifles, games, and cartoons.

...

Reading this makes me think of Hobbes' Leviathan.

>Oh yes I love the chains of my master. How I enjoy the power of the sovereign. No no, of course I willingly give of my autonomy

Fucking Law

I'm Japanese and love games like red dead

...

2 nukes clearly wasn't enough then

As a japanese, could you please tell us how many nukes do you think that we need to explode there, to actually fix your misoginist country?

You're better off wiping the archipelago off of the map if you want that to happen

But that would let china in trouble. Don't want to do that to a comrade.

This.

Am currently playing Nocturne. Some questions:

1. How do moon cycles affect the game?

2. How do I grind money easily? I run out of money so quickly by demon negotiating that I barely have money for healing sometimes.

3. Is there any reason to use any of the other "magatama" items other than the default one?

4. Which stats should I focus on building? Should I distribute stats evenly or focus on 1-2?

>yooka laylee
Fuck no, that game is a disaster. I'm not even talking about that retarded e-celeb bullshit, either.
>hat in time
Maybe if it was a bit longer. I know they've got two more worlds coming soon, so that might help.

>mfw that concept art from bully 2 that got leaked
come the FUCK ON ROCKSTAR

>1. How do moon cycles affect the game?

The more full, the more violent the enemies are. Demons crafted in the full moon can be fused with a third one to become even more powerful.

>2. How do I grind money easily? I run out of money so quickly by demon negotiating that I barely have money for healing sometimes.

Stop negotiating with demons that much, bitch. Just rekt then up. If you really want to make strong demons, just craft then.

>3. Is there any reason to use any of the other "magatama" items other than the default one?

They give you new abilities, and change how your status increase when you level up. Focus on the magatama that gives you the abilities you really want.

>4. Which stats should I focus on building? Should I distribute stats evenly or focus on 1-2?

That depends on how you play, and how your party is. I usually like to buff my demifiend and focus on non-elemental atacks, and have an all magicians party. Do what you deem best.

...

Moon cycles increase demon aggression, making them harder to negotiate with. However, there are some demons that can only be talked to during full moon
There's a side quest which rewards you with 200000 macca
Magatama gives the MC skill on level up when equipped. In the Magatama menu looks for the ones that's vibrating a lot, they will most likely give you skill next level up
Strength with some points in Agi to increase evasion/hit chance

I would gladly trade Monster Hunter back to Nintendo in exchange for SMT.

>How do the moon cycles affect the game?
Demons react differently to talking depending on whether it's full or not, generally they're more aggressive if I recall correctly. Also you can only do certain fusions while it's full, and there are skills like Bright/Dark Might that depend on it. Also some chests change contents based on it

>How do I grind money easily?
You really can't, that's why Hard mode is a bitch.

>Is there any reason to use other magatama items?
They teach you skills as you level up with them ewuipped, and they have different resistances/weaknesses so it's useful to switch them around for bosses.

>Which stats do I focus on?
Not Luck, it's shit. Magic is always good but Strength outpaces it in late game and costs HP instead of MP to use its related skills, pick one to be your damage stat. Agility affects turn order and hit chance/dodge rate, put points into it whenever you think you have enough HP, otherwise Vit.

>Demons crafted in the full moon can be fused with a third one to become even more powerful.
Out of curiosity, when does the game tell me this? I don't remember. I'm currently in the sewers with all those Manikin dudes.
>Stop negotiating with demons that much, bitch.
Fine. That's what I thought I had to do. I tried capturing every new demon I found.

> they will most likely give you skill next level up
Is it possible to be too late to get these? Or do I always have to pay attention to the vibrating?

The only good weeb game is Oni so that impossible.

For money, I started a new play through on Hard which makes everything expensive as fuck, and I was having the same problem until I got to the labyrinth of amala. Provided you can survive, everything drops more money there. Also theres the minigames to get to each floor, I hear the later game ones gives boatloads of money if you know what you're doing. Also that 200000 macca quest, but thats a lot later I think.

Forgot to mention that there is one Magatama that you can't get unless you have all the others. It gives +10 to all stats and has good resists so cap your stats at 30 if you want to minmax.
>When does the game tell me this?
I think you have to walk into the Cathedral of Shadows when it's full and they'll tell you they offer a new service, that or its in their explanation of how it works.

Got a problem with playing Devil Survivor(EU)?

What about Shogo: Mobile Armor Division?

Memeatron fuck off, this is a Chaos thread now.

>Is it possible to be too late to get these?
Not really, but you only get one skill per level so even if you would qualify for a higher level skill, you won't get it until you go through the lower level skills first.

Because the west makes the best

>Is it possible to be too late to get these? Or do I always have to pay attention to the vibrating?
No, as long as you meet the level requirement for the skill, you'll get it when you next level with the magatama equipped.
>Out of curiosity, when does the game tell me this?
On my current playthrough, the guy told me when I got to Ikebukuro, right after the sewer.

Also I should mention that skills are only available once, meaning if you get and replace a skill you can never get it again. Notable good early skills that you'd want to keep an eye on are Element Boosts if you're going MAG, since each one gives a huge 50% bonus to its element damage. War Cry and Fog Breath are also fantastic early skills you shouldn't get rid of.

Some indies are cool
