Post progress boys. I'm sitting at 74 moons. How goes your adventures?

I'm still waiting for the Switch to drop its ridiculous price over here. Sucks being third worlder, the game looks amazing.

0 because I'm not buying this shit

How the fuck do you get
>really nice shot with the chain chomp

12 moons
I'm at work and I can't play

Where do you live?

809. Took me all of 12 hours.

>whole time I've been super happy that mario 64 moveset is back but depressed that the mid-air forward leap is gone
>not having it keeps fucking me up
>turns out it is in the game, you just have to press ZL+Y midair
based nintendo

I thought the switch got this portable feature

you can't just play video games at work you mongoloid

But you can shitpost from work ?

Great arguement, champ

You sound mad for some reason

i'm not the work-user genius, but it is a lot easier to browse Sup Forums every now and then while working than it is to whip out your nintendo switch and play Mario.

Oh shit really?!

Im 10 moons in. Why I'd bullet bill steering fucked up? I wanna smash my fucking controller.

yep, it changed my life

user, where are my expense reports?

>Bing
>Bing
>Wahoo!
>Fist me gay Bowser!

"Oh uh sorry boss"

Just played for about 6 hours and just finished New Donk City sitting at 94 moons

>boys

You can hold cap throw, jump to bounce off cap, then dive for almost game breaking jump distance

I'm on like 80 moons now. Just hit the Lost Island after the first Bowser battle.

The game is fucking blissful to play and one of the most joyous experiences I've ever had with a video game.

hasnt arrived in the mail yet

I'm on my way home from work (on a delayed train) so currently zero.

>i'm not the work-user genius

Looks like youre too retarded to understand the concept of an anonymous imageboard

Do you guys have any tips for doing long jump > cap throw> dives? I lost many lives trying to do the crazy shortcuts people did at e3. Do I really suck or is this actually difficult to pull off?

Controllers are GameCube Controller and Pro Controller.

Can you do a cap bounce after a long jump? I haven't pulled it off yet

So...how is it?

I trust Sup Forums more than any online reviewer.

I can't see the hype guys. Is something wrong with me? I'm usually a sucker for 3d platformers but this just look generic and easy as fuck, like a walking simulator with moons to collect

I don't know if I should get this game because I already know where roughly 50% of the moons are

Why are you guys fighting? Can't we all just hang out on Sup Forums and get along? I love you guys

name one other 3D platformer with the quality and production value of Mario Odyssey from the last ten years besides another Mario game.
>generic
with the possession gimmick this is one of the few mario games you can't use that on

So when should we be expecting DLC for this game? Q1 2018 or later?

Yeah but it is difficult.

It's good. Since there are so many Moons, some are fun to find and others feel a bit too easy. The game overall feels more comfy as a result, but also a tad casual.

Where all those chainchomps are, just down the hill from the first sleepy T-rex, go around the back of the mountain and there will be a green pipe after you beat the boss lady

Does it feel like 64? That's still my fave 3D Mario.

>ordered from Amazon
>thought USPS was going to deliver it which is good since they always deliver to my home early in the morning
>check shipping status
>Amazon themselves is delivering it
>which means I won't get it until 5pm at the earliest

Yes. It has big open levels and Mario's full 64 moveset, which is all I've wanted in a Mario game for like a decade. The hat gimmick is some fun icing on the cake, I hated 3D land/world and I'm loving this.

Memes aside this game would feel 10x more 'epic' if the worlds were at least 3x bigger than they actually are.

tfw the surprise of the secret part in the woods was spoiled because of treehouse

Would have been since going into the Woodland and not knowing that. Instead as soon as I got there I went for it.

Sounds promising. Thanks.

Yes, just think Mario 64 with larger levels and more Stars. Some Stars are in the similar situatons they were in 64, but some are just about as simple as pounding a certain spot on the ground on a tower.
