nah. tell me about it
and be detailed
enlighten me.
Good aesthetics, I'll bite.
Tell me more
its an mmo. it will be shit.
Nice try SHILL.
I'll see after it comes out of "early access'
fuck your gay furshit
One of the MMOs I'm expecting to be shit but still going to check out.
Crowfall, Camelot Unchained (I'm a backer, looks pretty bad right now, still alpha though), and Pantheon.
From what I've seen, Crowfall looks weird too. Pantheon looks to be the best of what I've seen but it's basically just EQ 2.0, so who knows.
Don't forget the buy your $7000 guild castle goy
>Crowfall
I'm waiting for everquest next faggot, this is the game that will change the industry
Forgot image
dude, fuck off
why would you shit on a vidya thread
that's the number one sign you're a retarded newfag. anyone that's been browsing for ten years is jaded as fuck. no oldfag ever complains about actual vidya discussion
inb4 reddit spacing
fuck off
What the fuck
you might want to sit down. i have some bad news for you
looking forward to my imperial palace
Don't forget to buy a parcel for your imperial palace
lol, drop 10 grand on a castle then realize you can't build it because you didn't throw another 7 g their way
I want to be but I'm sceptical. I think Pantheon will be the bees meow though.
My castle and caldera better be fucking handcrafted by famous artists that they resurrected from the dead for that price.
You can build everything with in-game resources.
that dude is unironically cool as fuck
wonder what he looks like now
I forgot this was a thing.
p sure it's this dude
Of course not. Jesus fucking christ OP what is wrong with you? Its going to go pay to win real quick after launch. Gauranteed.
yeah. it seems like star citizen
You don't know that
you do understand why he's cynical, right?
No
get off the parcel
I've yet to see a single one of these kickstarter backer-based MMOs turn out as anything but a half-baked failure.
None of them are even out
I'm a backer of CU also and I agree. Still have hopes.
Also excited for Crowfall and Pantheon. Kind of concerned about some of the Crowfall payment stuff, like guilds ponying up for castles and shit. We'll see how all of that goes. So much of the game sounds so fucking fun.
Also interested in Chronicles of Elyria, Ashes or Creation (not sure if that's a scam or not), Legends of Aria (stupid name - was "Shards Online" previously), and one of the newer Darkfall reboots, "Darkfall: New Dawn".
Would be cool to get some more information on the Amazon studios sandbox mmorpg, "New World" at some point, as so far all we have is (cool sounding) blurbs and dev pictures.
because they keep getting cancelled.
Crowfall isn't cancelled.
>See OP
>Wow this looks neat
>Scroll down and see the shit money can buy
Why do I even get excited anymore?
i was but it's been how many fucking years now? i won't even care if I finally get invited
The concept is interesting, until you look at the Star Citizen tier godawful shop. I'd rather play Gacha shit, at least it doesn't pretend to be a real game.
Not yet, but you can bet your ass it'll be dead on arrival.
By the time the development of such a huge undertaking is complete, no one will give a shit anymore. They never do.
Some small part of you still hopes for a better future.
You better kill it now before it hurts you more.
no it's just some team meme thing that looks like a children's cartoon
I will try pantheon and it will be ugly and shitty but I might play it for a little while because nothing good will be made anyway

Try $10,000
>another unfinished money pit you and your friends can throw their hard-earned dollars into before it's finally released with 15% of the promised features and no refund policy
>player base falls to zero but not before devs make off with hundreds of thousands of dollars of player contributions to copy paste assets so they can feel like kings of a digital world when in reality their lives are garbage
It's part of the unity-style graphics craze going on right now that's setting back actual effort by studios to make realistic-looking assets
Also looks like an iPad game
Shouldnt shit like this be purchasable/built with ingame currency/materials? Why would they make one pretty cool objective like building a interactive castle for a guild(assuming that that game has guilds) achievable by just throwing real money at them.

It is

yeah maybe that looks like a pretty comfy ga-

wow, i really like the art
well, fuck.
>can't play it right now

How to kill your game 101. Was going to pick this up but fuck this shit
desu I am also a backer, but I'm terrified the lack of PvE is going to turn the game into a boring planetside 2 scenario where one side steamrolls but nobody cares because there's no incentive to hold areas. They keep saying that it'll be meaningful pvp, but I'm curious if it'll actually work out that way
I just want Shadowbane back
I generally don't play games with "fall" in the title
if they can't come up with something less cliche for the name of the game, I have no hopes for the rest
i blame scam citizen for this
Yep, I worry about that too! We'll see. I honestly need to catch up on where they're at. It's slow and I get distracted.
Two others that might be good and are sort of similar, would be Gloria Victis and Life is Feudal. Both still early access nonsense of course, so I'm not shilling anyone to buy it (don't). But they both look pretty good at least so far.
I'm with you, I want pvp but i want meaningful pvp, where it's for a purpose, has strategic meaning or actually has an effect on the world/game. I like more sandbox style stuff typically, where I can build, craft, sell, take over shit, have my shit pushed in and watch my cool walls fall down, all that stupid stuff. My dream would be a game with player governments and stuff, setting up their own laws in the areas they control, but not sure we'll have anything that cool in my lifetime.
hahah

Reasonable prices. Hosting is expensive, guys. 120 players take up a lot of CPU server resources and those designer castles are yours to "keep" for the lifetime of the game. It's just €58 per player.
is that the p2w 3d ultima clone?
