I'm surprised it took them this long to do this. It's not a bad idea.
Yes poor people continue to be desperate enough to spend their money there on used games. And now this rental shit.
They are a disgusting company and I haven't bought a game from them in years.
Seems to me like a great idea. I won't use it, but I have friends who will.
Too bad mods and janitors won't do anything about this advertising.
Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.
Why would they? They're getting paid well enough.
By whom?
thanks, but im good withe gamefly.
I can see this appealing to some people but I dont think it will make them that much money.
No thanks I'd rather buy a game
Huh, that doesn’t sound nearly as bad as I woulda guessed. It woulda been a wicked deal if it came out when I was in highschool.
You can already be doing this by exploiting the return policy with used games.
>$120/yr for used games
>implying anyone would ever pay that much in total for used games to begin with
Basically this.
Anyone who isn't aware of how easy it is to exploit Gamestop's return policy deserves to pay 60 bucks for 6 months.
Or you could...y'know...just go to the library and borrow something for free.
Usually 7 days isn't enough for me to be done with a game
If I was a little kid it would have been a great deal because I had no way to tell what games were going to be like without playing them first and blockbuster only let you rent for a couple days with a couple games.
These days the only reason I'd consider it is to play a bunch of shitty 360/ps3 games that aren't really worth paying money for but I've been mildly interested in like Blue Dragon or that time powers game. Most of the stuff I'd actually buy is niche jap garbage that they don't stock in the first place and finding a used copy is almost impossible.
hiromoot's gold mine of banned plebs
None of the libraries near me have games.
Have yo seen the constantly shilling for emulators on Sup Forums? Gamestop has nothing on their viral marketing.
