>Sunshine - A postcard, just like this, except there wasn't even a proper post-game world or final level
>Galaxy - Had to 100% the game in order to get Luigi and then do it all over again for a finale that is basically a straight line. Also a postcard
>Galaxy 2 - One post-game world, another run with a new set of stars and one tough final level
>3D Land - A second run with only slightly harder levels and final level
>3D World - Set of post-game worlds and of course final level, after doing it all over again with 5 characters that is

This is in line with Galaxy 2, which was still the best (or rather, less awful) of the bunch. Could've been worse

Only at 120 stars, or if you are able to pull off that ridiculous stunt at the right end of the castle.
I tried it with all my might back when I was 10, since it was shown on a Nintendo ad-VHS. Never was able to pull it off.
At 70 stars there is literally no reward except for the credits.
