Remind me why Deus Ex is held in higher regard than these 3 when it's gameplay is utter boring trash?
Remind me why Deus Ex is held in higher regard than these 3 when it's gameplay is utter boring trash?
Only like 30 people actually played it and they're very vocal
MGS2 > 3 btw
>Only like 30 people actually played it and they're very vocal
Well this is some delusion right here. I literally played it when I was a kid (around 5th grade) because every friend of mine played it and I'm not even from a country where the game was popular.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
Because Deus Ex is first and foremost an RPG.
Human Revolution is a stealth game, even with the same level designer as Chaos Theory.
Is this loss?
Ironically haven't played Deus Ex because fuck PC controls for stealth
I love Chaos Theory but it's not on par with the other 3 games listed. It's quite linear and does stealth well. That's it. It's an amazing stealth game but the other 3 titles have so much more to offer they blow it out the water.
silent assassin > blood money
deal with it fags
>silent assassin > blood money
Not with that horrid AI
DEAL WITH IT FAG
>Utterly boring trash
>In a game that has literally more than 3 ways to beat a map, unlike SC, Hitman or Metal Gear
>A game where you can define your own pj, while having a pre-defined character as JC Denton
>Not even talking about the level design, which is top fucking notch unlike the others.
Go back to your shitty vidya user.
I replayed the fucking SHIT out of SA and had a lot more fun with it but Blood Money is objectively better my boy.
Brb gonna boot up Anathema for the millionth time
Literally all Hitman games have "bad" AI by design.
SA had the worst one though that's the point
Too bad the combat is a broken mess
I agree with you completely, Chaos Theory is too linear, even MGS3 which is the second most linear game out of the four gave you a lot of options and had multiple ways of approaching certain locations on a map.
The linearity in Chaos Theory is pretty bad, it's baffling how often I stumbled upon someone claiming Chaos Theory has less linearity and lots of approaches. That's completely wrong, how can anyone think this?
My nigga, right here.
Hidden Valley, At the Gates and Tunnel Rat were absolute shit, though.
I prefer 2016____
this is literally the only reason i haven't played the thief games.
>The linearity in Chaos Theory is pretty bad,
I don't get this, i played it recently and most of the missions i noticed there was another path to the objective i could have taken. Only one that was a straight path was the last quarter of bathouse mission
>Too bad the combat is a broken mess
>point and shoot
>broken mess
what
Almost all the missions are extremely linear, especially the first mission and "Displace".
>Remind me why Deus Ex is held in higher regard than these 3 when it's gameplay is utter boring trash?
They are all different subgenres of stealth, so the comparison is pretty much based on what you prefer:
>Deus: RPG/'emergent'
>SC: classic
>Hitman: sandbox
>MGS3: stylish action
How can you just say "the gameplay is trash" and think that's some kind of well thought out argument? You literally could not be more vague than that.
>he plays Deus Ex as a stealth game
>he considers Deus Ex as a stealth game
This is the mark of a plebeian redditor
