pre-ordered. the release date was recently updated to Dec 1st, which is much better than I was expecting. Looks like I'll actually be able to play it during Christmas vacation, can't wait.

the world looks very fun to explore. Xeno games always have the coolest designs (characters are hit or miss though).

For the billionth time, no they didn't. That only meant there'll be no local EU dubs. Look at the European E3 trailers for Fire Emblem Warriors, it has the same disclaimer but the game has dual audio.

Yeah because Mario and Luigi partners in fart really feels like an immensely epic open world JRPG filled with all the meat and potatoes of a typical of a 150+ hour open world RPG. Dude it's Mario, a handheld JRPG... It doesn't scratch the same itch a Xenoblade game does which is more of a core JRPG experience and just meatier and decidedly epic like a Final Fantasy game. You don't fucking get it do you... You think these Xeno games are just little budget romps fun for a few hours and then you've completed them... Have you ever played a Xeno game? Do you even know how towering and immense these games are in scope and depth? You really just don't get it

Wrong. The models themselves, sure they are inferior compared to now, and hell I can take the artstyle change but fuck's sake the character design is a step down.
Even if it is good weeb in terms of story and setting, the artstyle and character design is an extreme turnoff. Compare the official art of Shulk and Fiora to Rex and Pyra and you'll see what I mean.

They were inferior to back then too, there were always complaints about X's models. At least now characters can actually emote, which they've said is also why they chose this art style in the first place.
