I don't get the shitstorm around Wolfeinstein either. I mean I get it, Swedish cucks dropped the ball hard, that's what they do. From what I've seen the game is pretty mediocre and will disappear quietly, same with Mafia 3. The first few shitpost thread were mildly amusing, but they got old fast. Wolfeinstein threads are fucking cancer.
I'm a fucking newfag myself (been here around since 2011), but I miss the Sup Forums we had a few years back. I had fun shitposting all night long, and sometimes you could find here genuinely very good vidya discussion. Nowadays I only lurk for the occasional Silent Hill/VtMB thread.

The custscene shit really is getting out of hand. I finished the Evil Within 2 the other day, it was okay for a TPS horror game. At the very first encounter with a zombie the game shoots the monster for you. I mean I remember being fucking annoyed that the game can't trust me to shoot my first monster, and I am treated to a cutscene instead. (Later the zombie does get up, and you have to shoot it again, but it's still shitty.)

The political climate is changing, there is unrest and tension everywhere. I get why people don't like the nu-Wolfenstein game, but all in all it's a mediocore pile of shit, soon to be forgotten. I hate looking through the catalog to see a dozen shitposting threads about it.
I frequent /biz/ amongst other boards, and there was a huge influx of retards from Sup Forums. I've seen people shit on meme vid by Tyrone becuase he is a nigger. A few years back that retard would have been shamed to death for not knowing Tyrone and not recognizing an overused /biz/ meme.

Say what you will about Sup Forums but they spout there shitposts with the confidence of a drunk idiot. No matter how insane it sounds.
It's alright. Kind of a mixed bag.
The control is still clunky, but much better than the first game. It has ditched some of the horror elements, and mostly an action game now. The graphics are okay, the game can look quite good at time.
There are a few issues that really annoy me though. The game has a tendency to overwrite it's rules - for example you sneak up on an enemy, only for it to do a quick 180. Or there are segments when a ghost is coming for you in the open segment area of the game, and suddenly the game alters the location of a few objects, to make it harder for you to get away. Cheap shit like that.
The game has it's moments, but it was obviously rushed, and falls apart towards the end. It's still worth a playthrough at least. If you enjoyed Dead Space, RE4, Cold Fear etc. go check it out.
I forgot to add that I still don't understand why they can't just resurrect RE4. A well done RE4 clone would make me very happy. I don't understand why the movement and the shooting feels clunkier in The Evil Within 2, when it's a much newer game. They don't have to reinvent the wheel, or fix something that isn't broken. Just give me a shiny new Resident Evil 4 and I will be very happy.
