Get some lumbar support and stretch occasionally, you'll be fine.
Lying down for extended periods is worse than sitting. Your body just starts giving up and not trying, since it starts to believe it can just always be in sleep mode. That and bedsores/atrophy.
Do you also fear walking on stairsets and bridges?
