the demo is fucking garbage and they will definitely get taken down by EA as i'm pretty sure the "Flick it" mechanic is patented.

I haven't played video games in around ten years now and I'm only here because some dude accidentally posted a Skate 3 thread on another board... and I just looked this up and watched the teaser. I hope they refine the physics; everything looks really floaty and the manuals are too rigid/perfect. If only...
But it's leagues ahead of what I'm used to. I remember playing the shit out of Thrasher for PS1 with my friends after a long day of skating and loving every second trying to be as realistic as possible.

are the trick flickit methods the same? i always hated how hard it was to tre flip and it got way too unrealistic. i play the game with so much effort to make the tricks look realistic.

left and right stick are left and right feet, respectively. different enough from skate to feel like you're learning something new. Physics in general feel more grounded than skate

Real talk though, it kinda blows my mind how they manage that kind of effect in a game, at real time.

Most of the time i can kinda grasp how certain effects work but fish eye in-game is just mind blowing for me.

More than likely it's just a simple filter applied to the image, I doubt that it's actually warping any sort of geometry. That seems real unnecessary.

My game has no input, i can't click anything on the menu even using an controller, anyone else having this problem?

the controls feel weird but good at the same time idk why

this. the thing that makes it weird for me is turning with triggers since I am so used to using the sticks as camera. The sticks as your feet is real neat and does add some challenge to doing tricks and stuff.

I was going to complement the feeble and then say that hopefully the spin will get more sensitivity and control so you can spin slower and make that look smooth like butter.
