For all 7's faults, Ecolo's plan being "get such a sick-ass chain that i bury the entire world in garbage for fun" is pretty good.
Doppleganger Arle is up there for joining Ecolo in being one of the few actually threatening Puyo villains.
Strange Klug also gets some points for the lore behind him.
Satan is less a villain and more like Dedede in that he either fucks up something dumb and gets smacked for it, or is being used by the real villain. (Aside from 20th, anyways)
15th didn't have a villain.
Accord and Popoi might be up there if we knew what the ruck they're actually doing.

Man I've been playing Chronicles and it's pretty disappointing, I heard about the enemies and level design being bland but I expected a lot more story since they were going with the RPG style, but 20th's story was a lot better. Maybe it'll get better but I'm doubting it.

Am I just doomed to be a mediocre puyo player? I'm good at making 5 chains, and I can make 7 chains if I'm lucky and my opponent is slow enough. I'm slow on the execution.
