>enjoying video games
>not simply using them to pacify your mind in an attempt to subdue your depression and anxiety when in reality you are just perpetuating the cycle that worsens them over time

I am going to get candles tmrw, thanks user!

cool, mine are peppermint scented

I keep coming back to freedom unite, bonus points for it being portable

Any comfy games that can run on toasters?

Is it weird that Doom is my ultimate comfy game?

Torchlight II. Very comfy voiceover announcer guy.

>buy picross 3D 2nd round on eshop

Suicide is the only option

no because its retro

No, even the newest one is highly comfy.

I miss comfy games...

YAKUZA 0

This is going to sound 2edgy but I'm at this really comfortable level of skill in dark souls. I can just take my time and take the challenges as they come and it's usually a casual romp through Lordran. I just like being there.

Casual games like Pokemon or Assassin's Creed always hit the spot when you don't want to put any effort into your day.

Sticky jumping around in TF2 pubs does it for me. I have Stardew Valley, but I got so addicted to that game a few months ago to the point where I was playing it all day, until I managed to marry Emily and suddenly I got bored of it.

tfw no blue haired hippie wife

Far Cry 4. Nothing beats me playing it at midnight just walking across Kyrat finding the masks of Yalung

Sometimes I'll install garry's mod with a bunch of maps from the workshop just to wander aimlessly in them.

Animal crossing
Undertale
Any oldschool jrpg really

I'll be blazing through my DS backlog this winter.

>tfw no second floor balcony to sit in

I want to sit wrapped in a blanket and drink hot cocoa or tea while snow falls outside and watch the people on the streets below as they go about their night.

snowfall by the lamp light is so beautiful to watch, it really makes me feel peaceful.

Bioshock I always want to live in a underwater city

Kirby's Epic Yarn

for comfy it has to be bloodlines desu
that rundown rainy desolation feels so weirdly like home

pretty much this

One of my fondest memories was about 8 or so years ago, playing through Okami for the first time on PS2 in my room, blanket around me in my chair with snow falling outside and a big fucking box of my favorite snacks that I had managed to find a website that I could order them from since I wasn't able to find them IRL for several years and thought they just stopped making them.

Etrian Odyssey 5 right now. exploring is comfy. watch out for those fucking FOEs.

baldur's gate
it's like going on an adventure with old friends every time

KOTOR
Any point & click adventure
Civ 4
Sim City 4

>Banished.
Holy fuck OP, nice taste. Played Banished a lot last winter, once on a Saturday afternoon while it was gently snowing outside and it was fucking 10/10 comfy. Any sim/builder game is laid back and chill on a night like that, may I also suggest Cities: Skyline?

>multiple died in fire early saturday morning after a candle was left unatten-. . . .

> that comfy feel of having the next day off

Fuck six day weeks. I miss that feel .

Yeah, probably one of the only pluses about being a part-time wage slave.

I never get this comfy. I like it when it's cold out and I sit in my condo in my underwear and play games. The heat's on and it's nice, but a tinge of coolness makes it nicer to me.

sim city 4
sims1
proteus
zineth
oblivion

>every thread that isn't shitposting is this

We're all sad on the inside, aren't we?

Little Inferno

Banished
Little Inferno
Spyro 1-2-3 (especially snow levels)
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
Sims 1
Armadillo Run

I would recommend portable console vidya.
-Persona 4 Golden
-Bravely Default
-FF: 4 Heroes of Light

>but user, I don't like portable devices
-v4ll hall-a
-A hat in time
-FEZ
-Dragon's Crown
-Undertale
-The Wolf Among Us
-Murdered: Soul Suspect / L.A. Noire (If you're into crime-based series)

Anything handheld really
Stardew Valley ofc
Farming Sim or Euro Truck sim if your into that
Spelunky
Terraria
Hollow Knight
Civ V

I would make a case that Spyro 1 is the comfiest game of all time.

ZOO TYCOON IS OFF STEAM?!
