>Game allows you to Critical hit 100% of the time
Game allows you to Critical hit 100% of the time
if every hit is a critical hit do critical hits really exist?
Yeah this was Disgaea 5's curry trick.
What are other games that do this?
>RNG is a skill
>game allows you to double crit
>30% chance to do a critical hit
or
>every 3rd hit is a critical hit
The second one is a 3.3333333% increase, repeating of course.
makes them too predictable
>critical hits have a chance to grant bonus attacks
>those can be critical hits and grant bonus attacks too
I heard there was a similar trick in Makai Wars
>5% chance of hit
>Enemy hits you and kills you becuz lol
Fuck FE Fates.
>that's xcom baby!
Yasuo is a shit character and league of legends is a shit game
A percent chance with PRNG is fine.
Knew a dude who had a build in Monster Hunter that had like 140% chance to crit when the monster was enraged or some shit. It was a super compromised build that didn't do as much damage as the usual clown suits but it was kinda cool just seeing the pink effects on every hit
>you hit as twice as hard
>at half the speed
I made a build like that in Amalur. Underrated game, but not really.
Best thing, a 100% Crit build is actually the best. You can stack crit chance easily and then focus on + crit damage.
5% isn't 0%
New Vegas with certain equipment and weapons
t. literally nobody
>RNG adds depth
Risk of Rain
This is my favorite pepe desu
>game lets you have 100% crit rate through a really specific build
>critical hits only do 25% more damage
>you get better returns with just boosting attack via simple means
Fire Emblem
>Game has a boost critical hit move
>Game is also bugged and critical hits never happen
>it triggers a debuff that multiples diminishing returns
Oh fuck user now I wanna play RoR
>loader with 8 clovers and hundreds of glasses
>wicked ring
>mfw spamming shield and punch at the same time
>crit build in fallout 1 with red ryder bb gun
I remember doing this in arpg on the iPhone in 2009. Never beaten the game but it was nice seeing the effects from crits every hit.
>Crit build cripples your effectiveness for the majority of the game
>Late game you just destroy all enemies, super bosses are no challenge
Guild Wars 2, Necromancer can itemize 50% crit, and has a trait that gives them 2% crit chance per vulnerability stack (1% more damage per stack, caps at 25 stacks) on their target, and they're very good at applying vulnerability
Pretty cool tbqh.
>increasing crit rate above 100% makes it so your crits can crit
>hit once
>kill everything
it was a good build but it died to reflect
>Game allows you to critical hit 50000% of the time
>game lets you crit 100% of the time
>critting grants a stacking buff
>critting again consumes a stack of the buff to do another attack
god I love PoE
>doubles attack speed
>cuts damage in half
>still apply on hit effects
poe is literal cookie clicker tier skinner box simulator
what a nice """"""game""""""""
t. Hearthstone devs
t. brainlet who probably fucked up his passive skills
I bet you don't have a level 100 character. get the fuck outta here
I bet you went a shitty build because you couldn't grasp the very simple mechanics and ended up bashing your head against kitava until you ragequit before even reaching the real endgame
also
>needing a level 100 character to do important content
So you don't have a lv100? What about ranking in a race ladder? You surely won an alt art demi right?
>leveling ALL the way to 100
But for what reason?
I was pretty good and had a strong character at that time, but that was in patch 1.2. Last time I played was in Breach league and even then I just did the challenges and left again. From what I hear from friends its really easy to get to 100 now by minmaxing the atlas or something like that.
>game has multiple stages of a critical hit multipliers
Warframe's crit mechanics are gold
Monster Hunter with 100% affinity
>Game allows you to Critical hit 50% of the time
>but 90% of all enemies are immune to crits
>all classes that spec into crits are completely fucking useless
I've heard on multiple occasions that it takes skill to know when to rely on luck.
>Do I have >x% chance to win based on skill alone
>No
>Take x% shot at victory
Wow, complex
>some of your attacks just don't hit regardless of anything else because it is "realistic"
>you also have very limited ammo
t. never pked in rs
>Game allows you to trap enemies, perform multiple hits with a 100% crit rate in a way that rewards you by endlessly being able to repeat this loop.
I know people shit on Dungeon Siege III, but it was a lot of fun to break.
Fire Emblem
Frost Breath and Storm Throw do this but only a couple of Pokemon get the latter
