Are you excited for Session?
Are you excited for Session?
How are the controls?
They're initially strange, but they make sense when you get used to them. Each analog stick is assigned to a different foot and you turn using the triggers. (There's a free demo available on their website, if you want to try for yourself.)
>adding vignetting to give it that camera lens look
>screen not even distorted to give it that fish eye lens look
hopefully thats just like that because its still in early stages. but right now it just looks pointless.
ok uh... Is this a mod for skate or is a publisher behind this?
It is distorted, but there are times where the effect is difficult to see. I haven't spent enough time studying camera lenses to figure out if that's accurate or not.
This is a new skating sim by the indie studio Crea-ture, they have a Kickstarter for it going up on the 21st.
>Feet clipping through the board
You had one fucking job.
>This is a new skating sim by the indie studio Crea-ture, they have a Kickstarter for it going up on the 21st.
so just say it's your game and stop fucking around
Is this arcade as fuck like THUG pro or is this just Skate?
I thought the Kickstarter was going up on the 14th.
It's not my game, I'm just excited for it. I'm not 100% sure that the existing small audience is going to be enough to fund the project successfully, so I did hop on to tell some people about it.
It's a bit more of a sim than Skate.
It got delayed, that's why they released the demo early.
>It's not my game, I'm just excited for it.
it's absolutely your game.
its not my game. but the devs are working hard and we hope our kick-starter gets funded
Okay, friend. If I was seriously getting paychecks for every thread I posted where someone called me a shill for [x] product I wouldn't be using Sup Forums.
>we hope OUR kick-starter gets funded
user...
Has this studio made any other games or is this their first?
>forcing it this hard
This is their first project as a studio, but the individual developers have had experience elsewhere in the games industry.
That wasn't me, but I do find it heartwarming that the IP count didn't go up when you auto-replied to your own post.
You're asking me to prove a negative, which is impossible. I can't prove that I don't work for them, I can talk at length about how much I like the game. If any sort of enthusiasm for any sort of game is just blindly considered shilling at this point, I don't know what to tell you.
>I wouldn't be using Sup Forums if I was getting paid for it
You know, in retrospect, that statement doesn't make a lot of sense. I meant it in the "the only reason I use this godforsaken website is that I am too poor for actual video games" way, it came across as a nothing statement.
Yeah its like they're an indie company or something, geez
its their first game.
apparently the creator is an actual skateboarder who got into video game development and ended up working at some game company at an early age. i never found out what company though.
>Company makes a skating game
>Can't even animate the feet staying on the skateboard properly
This certainly gives me a lot of faith in their product.
Why does it even matter whether or not who's making the thread? Can't talk about games here?
What are you thoughts on these? I plan on getting one for Yule
Will we ever see a game about them or scooters?
I'm interested to see how it turns out, but I'm not going to back it. I'm more into the THPS style of arcadey fun skating than the faux-sim Skate stuff. Still, it's cool to see an interest in keeping skateboarding games alive.
why wouldn't you just go out and skate yourself?
It's a thread built upon lies. Your hobby gets corrupted by greed filled content creators who start their dialog with a big fat lie and you just have to look at the suits running this industry to see to what that leads.
You want to shill your game on Sup Forums...be honest.
yeah i don't get why people play squad or arma either
Fag
>that awful vertex weighting
They really might want to fix that.
>Those idiots that made Surgeon Simulator and shit made their tony hawk/splatoon mixture game
>put it out on steam for free and said they were going to can the project if it didn't get at least 100k players in a week
>it fucking flopped because 0 advertising and who the fuck checks random free to play games?
Bunch of morons
I just want a wacky experience like the old tony hawk games; doesn't need to be THUG levels of crazy either, the missions in pro skater 4 had funny stuff too.
What's the problem with caster boards autist?
>Sim.
No thanks.
It's arcade or nothing for me.
