How the fuck is this even allowed? Why are there people that are okay with this? That's an ad every 2 minutes.

Who the fuck doesn't use some form of ad block in 20 fucking 17?
> not using an adblocker
wtf is wrong with you?
Just use adblock if it bothers you that much.
>2017
>not having adblock
I've honestly thought ads on youtube were a mobile exclusive thing now.
this site is 18+ little pupper. now hush hush or I will tell your mom that you curse on the internet.
It disgusts me just knowing this is a thing, though. How is this even possible? Don't you have to have way more subscribers to have monetized ads and profit from them on your account? I don't understand why this person has this in place.
>he hasnt rooted his phone and blocked all the ads
Spotted the retard
Nah, they're still on normal browsers as well. I've just been too lazy to have an adblocker for everything. I just have pop-ups and shit blocked.
I mean I mostly have an adblocker on because everyone loves to put malware in ads.
You’ve been too lazy to take 20 seconds to install something? You’d lose 20 seconds waiting to skip 4 ads on YouTube
Actually a pretty fait point. I think Sup Forums knows what's up

I've been pretty lucky. Granted, I don't really go to many sites.
Actually lazier. I don't need to install one. I just have to check a box in my settings. Would you like to go deeper into the rabbit hole?
I haven't seen an ad in over 10 years, hownu.ru?
YouTube content isn't worth giving your money to. Just use AdBlock.
>>You can use AdBlock!
Stop ignoring the main issue. A company should always put convenience and respect towards the customer first. Instead they are farming people without consequence. Youtube is so massive they can survive with minimal ads, they don't have to spam everything with it. It's pure, unopposed greed. And it's not only about Youtube, you see that shit everywhere, online, offline. That is why globalism and multinational companies are bad, nationalism would never allow such practices, same with the banking system, that is why they hate it and oppose it. Don't dismiss the small examples like goytube, they are part of the zogmachine.
You don't need any subscribers at all to monetize. You're thinking about pre 2010 or so when you had to apply to be a youtube partner or some shit like that to profit from videos.
I dunno m8, I'm subscribed too Google's music service so I get YouTube Red as an added bonus and haven't had to deal with YT ads in 2 years.
I dunno, my youtube use would drop 10 fold if I had to watch commercials
Not new. Just lazy. And so autistic I'm afraid of change.
This is why I use an adblocker. If a video is like this on my phone, I just move on. I'm okay with one ad at the beginning if it's a cool channel but not this shit
>customer
lol
>tfw websites are blocking Adblock users
dark times are ahead.
>asks me to white list their site
>put them on my shit list instead
>Blockers for Adblock blockers exist
>Youtube is so massive they can survive with minimal ads
What the fucking fuck? You know youtube has never made any profit in its entire existence, right? I don't think you realize just how fucking many videos youtube hosts, basically as a community service.
Just get a script blocker
This is why they're losing costumers to Twitch
lmao use adblock fuckboi
Whatever happened with the Net Neutrality thing anyway? I'm OP (and a Leaf) so I couldn't do shit about what was going on downstairs.
Yeah. I never watch anything that has more than one ad. Otherwise I guess I would've posted something like this years ago. My subscription list is pretty small. I wish WildPie would update...
The question is when will blockers of blockers for adblock blockers become a thing.
People pay attention to adverts?
My brain more-or-less turns off completely when one appears.
>Whatever happened with the Net Neutrality thing anyway?
dunno funny thing most site who block adblocker are newsites and we all know those guys are all leftycucks.
What'supguysmadseasonshowhere
feels good
>using someone's else computer after 10 years of not seeing shitty ads
At least i can convince them to install uBlock or whatever if they're a relative, since most malicious shit nowadays comes from ads
>customer
Someone who uses a service is technically a customer, yes. And in case of Youtube they generate ad revenue by using that service.
>basically as a community service
So is Google, who bought Youtube and they totally not making any money.
Most of their profits come from things you don't even see or are aware off, they sell your data, data you care so little about, and others pay good money for it for some reason.
They make money from social research with gets massively sponsored. And probably other things too.
Don't be a fool, you are a cow in their stable and while you eat that hey, they analyze how to use every last bit of you before you die.
>DUDE JUST UNBLOCK US OUR SITE HAS HARDLY ANY ADS LMAO
>do it just to check and get smacked with 3 pop ups right away, one with sound
If you fucks just had banners then maybe, but no those get compromised too often even.
...Who even needs to go to those anyway? Any news that's important, you'll hear about it anyway.
So, should I just kill the thread or post random things until the seventh WoW thread pushes this beyond page 10?
I'm worried because Hulu's free videos really did manage to defeat adblockers unless I haven't found a way. My quality of life would seriously deteriorate if this was implemented into YouTube.
He's so non-threatening I want to hug him.
a friend of mine watches this garbage ass show and i hate him for it
>whitelist site to support it
>ads manage to freeze my laptop
>...Who even needs to go to those anyway?
agree I get my news from Sup Forums nowadays.
>youtube has never made any profit
HAHAHA
Kind of redundant. You can get your news here. You can get anything from here. As long as it's not video games.
Yeah it doesnt make profit, why do you think it has such an overwhelming monopoly? Only companies like facebook or amazon could maintain a comparable site, they wont tho because theres no way to make money out of it.
the argument he's making is that keeping up with news daily is a pointless activity. Will it enhance your life at all? No, in fact it will probably do the opposite. Knowing what Trump did today doesn't make my life better.
People will be talking if there's something important enough that I really should know about it. Just ignore these information peddling corporations and get the important shit from your friends.
you don't even have to root anymore, there's literally no excuse
tfw mobile and this doesn't happen there
>Gelbooru barrages me with ads through my adblock, opening tabs etc.
>curious, I whitelist it to see how bad it is without blocks
>only get the banner ads at the top and bottom
cheeky
you onle need to have hit 10,000 channel views to apply for the partnership and be eligible for ads.
>Say user! Why do you use addblock? Don't you know watching those adds is how the creator makes money?
Youtube has ads?
Haven't read the manga, but she's so adorable.
Explain
I can't wait for more of her in the anime. I like the VA they chose for her. Her delivery is great.
You guys are still here. I'm surprised. I was about to head to bed. Let me know when they invent an adblocker for dreams. G'night from leafistan.
>nationalism would never allow such practices
I don't see how nationalism as an ideology would disallow such practices. Feel free to show me why I'm wrong, though.
How do you even do that without shit like Braver or some VPN?
>youtube has ads
>reinstall parents computer in a haze
>have to use it months later
>i forgot adblock
I'm so sorry.
Though they are so afraid of the damn thing that they refuse to even mention if something is off.
Even if you aren't monetized, YouTube might run ads on your videos anyway.
The sad thing is when big channels do this, it's like they can't get enough money in their fat stomachs. Then they open a patreon and plead poverty, while pulling in 6 figures a year.
