i was in your shoes earlier this year and i decided not to get one. absolutely nothing bad came from this decision except me having the money to gtfo out of my bad relationship when i realized that my girl was addicted to alcohol and things would only ever get worse. if i had bought the system i wouldnt have been able to afford gas and rooms for the trip back home (i traveled across country and we had gotten a place together after me meeting her on an earlier trip to that state)

basically what i am saying is save that money for emergencies, dont buy a new system until you have at least 5-10 times that amount saved.

If you only have $1500 in the bank, you should have more things to worry about than videogames unless you are literally in highschool, even then having money saved up to get a car or whatever when you need to be out in the real world is much more important.
