Funny how you obsessive NEETs have been whining about the perceived lack of content literally since day one, and the game is still going strong.

Better gameplay and better gacha rates than all comparable games.

Honestly, that's it. The gameplay, while certainly not very good compared to "real" games, is still miles ahead of the dull JRPG grind that many other gacha games use. And while any gacha model is jewish as fuck at its core, at least FEH has fairly decent rates and gives players a steady stream of free ingame currency so you can keep pulling new units at a regular pace even if you're completely F2P.

Like most people who play casual F2P games, I only play occasionally in short bursts, so it's more than enough for me. I haven't even finished the chain challenge things yet.

Catering to NEETs who blast through every update in a day is a dead end strategy.

It's true though, outside of the three chapters every couple weeks, we only get Tempest Trials (the game encourages you to literally auto your way through it if you have the stamina to burn), the Gauntlet (1% multipliers means all you need to do are your quests and to be up for like the last 6 hours or so to drop your flags on an inevitable multiplier) and generally recycled GHB/BHB fights, though the introduction of Infernal has livened them up somewhat. There is no real incentive to continue to play beyond your 30 second login right now, and getting your Arenas done for the week, which generally only takes like 10 minutes at most through the whole week you have to do it.

As a rule, the longer a general exists the worse it gets. People run out of shit to talk about so all discussion turns into memes, shitosting and waifu wars. As the regulars get to know each other better, the generals inevitably tend toward tripfagging and circlejerking.

The thing is that generals are pretty self-contained, so some of them manage to stay pretty decent while others plunge head-first into bullshit.

I never go for seasonal banners apart from the free pull.

The chance you'll get any is relatively small unless you're a whale, and even if you do get one you'll never ever get another one once the banner ends. At least with regular units they may appear on another banner (especially if they're popular) or you occasionally pull them off-banner so you can still have duplicates for SI or Merging.

Even if the seasonal units may be very powerful, they inevitably fall behind the curve in the long run due to Merging and power creep.

Overall it's considerably less cancerous than other gachas but the "Japanese businessmen trying to use cute girls to jew you out of your money" part is the same.

It's a phone game that plays to the strengths of the format and isn't half-assed. For what it is, it has a lot of content and is easy to just pick up and play for a minute and then set back down.

It's also one of the least cancerous gachas I've come across, where you never feel like you need to pay.

in short f2p titles are extremely manipulative and prey on human impatience. they are less a game and more a test of your will.

He gets +10 speed with Yato and Darting Blow on initiation. That makes up for his base speed by quite a bit.

He's okay. Stats aren't the greatest but they're not terrible either and he has a decent unique weapon. There are plenty of sword users that are better than him, but he's viable enough with some investment.

Boons/banes only ruin units like 1% of the time, there are a very, very small amount of unit/bane combinations that are actually unusable. The only reason people think a unit is ruined if it gets suboptimal IVs is because their head is so far up the collective ass of the supposed "metagame" that they forget the entire game is PvE and the higher levels of play are in reality dominated by knowing how to manipulate/play around the AI. Your -Spd Ayra is still going to double and kill 98% of things in the game. Just because a +Spd Ayra doubles 99% of things, doesn't mean yours is ruined. In lots of cases, like -Spd tome users, it just requires you to put a little bit of thought into how you build them, rather than following guides on the internet for everything you do and slapping a Fury/Blade build on every mage. My -Spd Quick Riposte Doot is amazing.

I mean sure, if you're lucky you can do anything, but with my poverty team it's literally impossible to camp Tier 20 because even on a perfect run I don't get enough points to maintain position.

i mean pretty much all gatchas are just some sort of character collection game without anything meaningful to farm for, except for the in game summoning currency

the way i look at it is that the game's only objective is to do all the missions that give out orbs so i can get more free summons and collect more characters, then along the way maybe enjoy the challenge of the levels such as those chain challenges or bound battles and stuff

if you play these games looking for tangible goals to farm towards you will have a bad time because you just hit a plateau once you reach that goal since these games arent really something that can be "beaten" and you dont really unlock a new layer of gameplay like you can in mmos with raids and guild wars

In general, the only bad banes are -Atk and -Spd, namely the latter most of the time. Anything else generally can and is good enough to get you to Tier 20 in the Arena, which is basically the current endgame.

There are plenty that do. There are people out there who have gotten luckfucked enough since they started playing that they can't do anything on that list. That doesn't mean those aren't still reasonable to accomplish f2p goals.

MCorrin dying to Reinhardt is completely irrelevant considering you can use just about any decent ranged green unit to bait and OH/ORKO Reinhardt with zero risk.

I mean sure M.Corrin isn't that good, but claiming Dire Thunder is the reason for that is completely fucking retarded, especially considering that M.Corrin was considered mediocre even when sword units dominated the meta and Reinhardt didn't even exist yet.

Speed is still the most important overall stat in the game, user. The existence of Thundercock doesn't change that for the vase majority of units.

It's not a huge deal to be able to camp T20 since it's only an extra 1000 feathers per week. If you really want to camp then you've gotta spend far more feathers on SI and merges than it's worth.
My SI'd armor core+bonus unit juuuust barely doesn't stay in t20 by about 20 points so I gotta start investing in merges if I wanna stay.

Of course there's some luck involved but using strong and relatively common 3/4* units like Cherche, Nowi, Fae, Eirika etc. for merges + the Askr Trio as bonus units will get you pretty far.

Paying 20k+ feathers just for a +1 merge is such a pain in the ass.

This game is gay and dead. FGO has an event and real story content right now.

Lyn is a pain in the ass, though. Usually gotta let Effie try to take her down. Wary Fighter is a blessing and armor march really helps.

Not him but I use a similar team and I can safely say that Hector can easily tank Rein with buffs, especially if he can get a panic ploy off from the free seal and BK can bait Lyn and take her first set of attacks then kill the next player phase with ease.

This, I played brave exvius before this and the way the units work there(pretty unbalanced) and the insanely low drop rates for good units is awful. Additionally some of the events required to play the game constantly where I can play FEH without any issue.

This. The game has gone a long ways since the start, people like to bitch now that there isn't too much but think about back then. You'd literally have the monthly and that was about it.

Now we get a tempest, voting gauntlet, special maps, and extra units/new chapters, etc all within the same month and people bitch there's barely a week away from events. I do think they should add something else to mix up the tempest->gauntlet rotations but idk what the fuck they'd do. PvP tournament or something? Guilds? Idk.
