If you want any form of Tetris on a modern console you have to choose between PPT and Ubisoft's Tetris Ultimate. Tetris Ultimate is a Tetris game with lag, while PPT is functional and actually has single player content and Puyo Puyo as well.

Here's a bit of it. The first time I tried it I didn't finish, so I ended up having to replay the entire game and make a save state before the credits. Even then, I barely finished before the credits ended (which are about 2:30 long).

It's pretty neat.
