Remember when Activision brought out Tony Hawk's 5 and it didn't even include most of the game on the disc? Just the tutorial
Was this even necessary?
I remember the rich kid at my school talking about how he got this thing
No, but it was baller as fuck.
My pal blew all his money on this to play on a 14" TV.
someone post the ms paint thing
it's pretty much the whole reason to play the game
When I got my first ever PS2 it was bundled with this.
...
How do you even use this? You'd have to bend over just to use the two at the same time.
>"Oh yeah that happened"
you do realise that the original eye toy sold 10+ million times? it also gave Nintendo the idea to make their motion controls waggle cancer with the wii.
it was good. really fun
eye toy was kino
I mean, sure, you can play mechwarrior with a mouse and keyboard if you're a raging cock-smoking homosexual, but real men use twin analog sticks with a fucktonne of buttons and pilot mechs that require the use of a clutch.

It was to get around quality control regulations that prevent you from releasing a buggy piece of shit but allow you to release the bits that work and patch the shit into it.
sega is the king of "oh yeah that happened"
I would unironically buy a fucking Xbone or PS4 Pro or whatever piece of shit "next gen" console if such a sim game with such baller proprietary controllers and pedals came out for it.
we will never see something like this ever again, because the kikes that have taken over the industry would never greenlit it.
You have to take one in your ass while taking the other in your mouth.
...
It didn't make any fucking sense on a console to begin with. It was crazy
The problem is that the audience for sim games live on the PC, and mustardw hate it when you tell them you need to have a particular controller to play.
those are still needed for PSVR
...
I wasn't that surprised when I saw these things at Best Buy the other day.
...
...
>it also gave Nintendo the idea
No.
Oh yeah, that did happen didn’t it? I don’t even remember what the “benefits” were
i didn't know there were transparent dreamcasts. i want one
me being born
Good luck
Yes it was and we will not have something like it ever again.
OP's is just riding the coattails of a dying fad. That game and that controls was basically made because of passion.
>Nintendo invented the camera
The eye was completely different
I use those all the time
>sony invented motion control
I never said they did. Nintendo didn't invent it either
>and mustardw hate it when you tell them you need to have a particular controller to play
Unless the game is good enough, in which case they'll happy pour thousands into a control setup. The benefit of the PC is that for every niché genre, no matter how obscure, you'll find an audience. Consolebabbies all play the same AAA dreck.
Wasn't there a similar deck for Hawken
It was just an early season pass.
You said Sony's eyetoy somehow inspired Nintendo to invent wagglan when Nintendo already had cameras and wagglan.
You're speaking with 2 different people
I was obviously talking about the waggling and flailing around like a tard, you buttshattered Nintendildofelatino
you sure?
Say what you want about it, it makes a pretty comfy desk desu.
Really? I fucking love peripherals. I have a flightstick in the mail, a wheel, a couple rhythm game controllers, both a regular mouse and a trackball, and some controllers. Working on the controller collection so I can have a controller+adapter for whatever console I'm emulating.
For a little while the gameboy camera was the smallest digital camera on the market.
...
Jesus fucking Christ why are Nintendowarriors so defensive and sensitive?
I don't give a single shit about nintendo either way, quit being wrong and you'll quit getting BTFO.
they never released it though
Well Japs love karaoke.
But it's not mandatory.
>oh yeah a keyboard happened and best buy sells it.
Am I missing something?
Or are you saying your local Best Buy still has Ride boards?
...
>they could have made steel battalion VR
>instead they made steel battalion kinect and killed the series
Now that I'm out of school with a job and income, I would drop the cash for this.
to make a pissing contest with bungie's halo waypoint
That came from any number of japanese arcade games.
I play this at parties still
the fucking F2P game??
The power glove wasn't even made by Nintendo, Nintenshart
There was a sewing machine you could program using a Gameboy though
The third disc of MGS3: Subsistence. >Kojima and crew created a three and a half hour cut of Metal Gear Solid 3's cinematics featuring remastered sound. Although presented like a film, it has been stated that the story was not meant as "Metal Gear Solid 3: The Movie", but more a way for those who wanted to know the Metal Gear Solid 3 storyline but were unable to finish the game.
The wet dream of games journalists
...
yeah. its shutting down now
>Joke/Satire
i fucking wish
I still remember the crazy Pro instruments from Rock Band 3. The keyboard controller that functioned as a MIDI keyboard was nuts, but the guitars used to simulate playing on a real guitar, oh boy.
Top has 102 buttons and 6 strings to strum.
Bottom is an actual guitar with sensors in the neck to tell where your fingers are.
If the on-disc songs like Smoke on the Water and I Love Rock & Roll were too easy for you, they released this as DLC:
youtube.com
i wonder if there are people who still use this stupid shit LMAO
I only remember this cause it give us a great PA comic
...
At that point surely some of that skill has to translate to playing the real instrument
He never said it was you dumb faggot.
Yeah I guess
too good to be true
So many Guitar Hero games released in 2009, that Activision literally gave this out for free if you bought Guitar Hero 5. When someone asks why music games died, point to this.
The Pro Guitar charts use actual guitar tabs, so if you can play it in Pro Mode, you can play it for real.
When I first started playing Real Guitar, I actually used videos of Pro Mode to learn some songs. It actually helped quite a bit.
Apart from any notion of creativity
i thought xinput only sees a basic dual analog controller? How does that work?
...
Was a fun gimmick at the right price. Then MS tried to do a glorified version of it for $150.
And to contribute to OP.
>tfw i thought thats how it worked before that was posted

all though I loved it at the time, those steering wheel and pedal accessories for Colleco where pretty fucking stupid. yay. I really feel like I'm driving by moving a monochrome block left and right as a mostly black screen scrolls vertically.
