How do I make the battery for this piece of shit last longer? I turned the lightbar off and it didn't do shit.

Get a second controller and just switch back and forth.
it's garbage. fuck this pos controller. use 4 hours and I get low battery warning. put controller down on carpet and suddenly right trigger is being held down.
DS4 is trash. 360 controller is the best controller
I fucking hate that I can't throw a pair of Eneloops into my DS4.
This is unfortunately the best idea.
The Jews want you to keep charging your controller more frequently
>360 controller is the best controller
Have you not heard the good word, friend?
Is that how they get my shuckles?
How come start and select aren't black?
>powered usb hub with long cable
>connect to playstation
>put usb hub under my couch and hide the one wire along a wall out of the way.
>connect controllers and whatever else via usb to hub
>cable length not an issue since hub is underneath me and no cables run across the floor
>controllers draw power from hub, never needing batteries
been doing this with same hub since ps3.
>plug controller into wall USB socket
>charges faster than the PS4 USB sockets
Out of all the duelshock family the DS4 has the best build quality, but somehow manages to be the worst one of the bunch. That stupid light, the R2 & L2 triggers that go off whenever you sit it down, and somehow more uncomfortable than it's predecessors. And who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to stick a touch pad on it?
Thee DS2 was a work of art. Pressure sensitive buttons. Analog sticks with a wide range of motion. It was simple but everything was just perfect about it. I use a DS2 to usb adapter and use it for computer games. Feels great.
It's a classic, unless you need to use its literal sponge of a D-pad.
I'm about to buy a new controller for my pc, I've been using a DS3, should I get a 360 controller? Keep in mind I live in a shithole where the 360 contoller is 80$ and the DS4 and xbone are 100$
It was better than it's competitors at the time. If I'm playing a game that needs d-pad precision I use one of these bad boys.
Build a gaming PC, peasant.
I'd go with the 360 controller. It's by far one of the most comfortable ever made. Just don't get it if you play a lot of games that use the d-pad. It's one of the worst ever made.
>wireless controllers
But why
Turn off vibration and you'll get an extra hour or two. Don't know how mustards can play without it, though. Shooting guns is so unsatisfying without any kind of feedback.
A mouse click has plenty of feedback on its own. How can console players stand using an analog stick to aim? It's like roleplaying as a crippled person.
>roleplaying as a crippled person
fuck
Try not playing games so much.
My controller doesn’t even charge when it is plugged into the wall
Thanks, I think I'll splurge and get the xbox one s controller.
i honestly dont have a problem with mine. i charge it everytime in rest mode and it lasts a good 4 or 5 hours, which is fucking long
I just wish it was wireless, I use other controllers over it just becuase of that, but yeah it's the best, I get sad whenever i'm reminded how good the L2/R2 are.
because they work
Tbh i just plug it in with a portable battery pack when its low
I guess ABXY don't work then huh
Hot damn user.
You can buy a bigger internal battery for it. Just Google it, it's really not that hard to find the answer to your question.
You buy a Switch you fucking retard
the truth
The Xboner controller has shitty triggers. I don't know why they went and fixed the d-pad but decided to make the triggers suck.
>, the R2 & L2 triggers that go off whenever you sit it down
I had this problem more with the DS3 since the triggers curved inwards.
Buy a 10 foot charging cord for 5 dollars on amazon. Anons dont know the meaning of the word freedom until you have one.
play less video games.
Triggers are fine, elite controller triggers are best
Second gen is fucking awesome. Also there are high capacity battery mods available.
Fucking this, not having easily replaced batteries ruined the DS4 for me.
What kind of fucking carpet do you have? I just pushed my triggers down against carpet and let the controller go and they both fling back up
try not playing video games for 6 hours a day fat ass
I got spoiled by the Wii U battery, since it lasts like 30 hours per charge, and it was the first console I bought in a decade. The PS4 controller I just leave plugged in 99% of the time I'm playing.
I have mine plugged in to my laptop so it never runs out of battery
>I got spoiled by the Wii U battery, since it lasts like 30 hours per charge,
Send it back. Your battery is faulty. You should be getting around 80 hours with your Wii U Pro.
>Best build quality
Fucking what? I've had my PS4 for a fucking year and a half and already one of those peices of shit have crapped out on me with some weird thing where if I press R2 it'd also think I was using the stick for some reason, babied the thing. Apparently other people have had a similar issues. The one I currently have somehow manages to have a shittier battery life than the last one despite only being a few months old.
Meanwhile I've never had so much as any DS1-3 so much as break minus one DS3 that I split some shit on and that's 100% me at that point. Only thing the DS4 has for me at least is it's more comfortable for certain games over long periods of time.
that thing is godly, I swear I've plugged it in like 3 times to charge since I've owned a WiiU
You have to remove the light bar and the touchpad. They both drain a lot of battery.
I wish I could get a corded 360 controller for cheap
You can turn the lightbar off completely now?
DS4Windows
dang I was so excited for a second. I'll stick with the Bone controller for my PC
