The Great Debate
The Great Debate
Switch Pro.
wii u pro > both
xbone > ds4 though
nintendo ds (classic)
Is there really a debate? One feels like quality and the other feels like the opposite of good quality.
>ps4 controller for games using the dpad.
>xbox one controller for everything else.
Thread over
yeah, Microsoft really dropped the ball this gen
360
PC user here, I don't have a controller. I honestly feel that you have to be retarded somehow to prefer the lower one, why in the fuck would you want to have an unever grip?
There is no debate. The Xbone controller is ergonomically and geometrically beautiful. It feels perfect and meaty. Everything clicks without effort (on the BT model, at least) and the triggers are rock solid.
When I noticed its buttons and ports line up along each other's centre lines and that most of its angles are subtle 45° or 90°, I gained a new appreciation for it. It's just such a luxurious, yet simple gamepad.
Yup, I can't stand the short charge cable, the share button that accidentally gets hit all the time. The rear triggers that hang up on everything you lay the controller down on. The useless touchpad that just takes up space. The useless light bar on the ba......wait a minute.
I use the elite controller (and mine's actually perfectly functional). It wins out even with uneven grip.
The Xbone controller still needing AA batteries seems crazy to me.
A blessing in disguise is what I call it.
should I get a Xbone controller or peecee on black friday?
I use a move controller and a power glove
They're both shit, what's to debate?
You can get a cheap PC or laptop that will run everything pre 2013 really well and the Xbox for Ultra settings on everything else from here on out. No real need for a Pro, but the Switch is also a good option.
PS4, but aside from the sticks and triggers it's a step back from the DS3. The dpad is fucking awful.
Bit of a left-fielder, but it was pretty nice.
The Saturn controller is as close as we've come to perfection.
quite like both controllers this gen tbqh. First ever generation where it's pure subjective
>the share button that accidentally gets hit all the time
Huh? I only ever see people complaining about how *hard* it is to press Share/Options
Haven't used the xbone controller but the ps4 controller is the first controller sony has ever made that isn't cheap creaky garbage so good on them for that. And thank fuck they fixed the sticks, still not a fan of the position but at least this one is comfortable.
>the ps4 controller is the first controller sony has ever made that isn't cheap creaky garbage
It's their cheapest, creakiest garbage yet. Mine literally squeaks.
PS1, 2 and 3 controllers all squeaked for me under the tiniest bit of pressure because the two halves of the controller were never attached to each other properly. PS4 is much better in that respect.
It has a rechargeable battery pack retard.
>buying rechargeable battery packs
>not just buying rechargeable batteries
shiggy diggy
