It was hit and miss in the early seasons, then got consistently good after it got cancelled and came back. It started sucking about 2 years after it came back though.

This is horrible. Well done.

But it's based on the earlier Family Guy where Peter actually laughed like that. New Family Guy has this horrible self awareness that isn't actually self aware. The dialogue is more like Peter making some condescending over simplification of something the writers don't like.

It's cancer and had horrible effects on the American animation industry.

At least Rick and Morty is ambitious, albeit completely up its own was about being meta, violent and nihilistic. When it works, it accomplishes things that feel unique and new.

Family Guy jokes, even the "good" ones, are cheap and could be accomplished in the Simpsons or South Park.

Eh, it's not much different than Futurama
Both only have a few great episodes. The difference is that Futurama's other episodes are mediocre daytime sitcom humor whereas the other RaM episodes are just painfully immature. I know I sound like some faggot moral guardian, but that's the only word that describes it.

Pocket Mortys is a decent spinoff, at least. Way better than the quest for shit games that the other shows are doing.

I hate to say it, but yeah.
